Bruno was never tag champion in the wwwf??? WWWF @ New York City, NY - Madison Square Garden - December 9, 1969 Victor Rivera & Tony Marino defeated WWWF International Tag Team Champions Prof. Toru Tanaka & Mitsu Arakawa to win the titles Sorry, I failed to mention that Tanaka & Arakawa were the tag champs at the time. For whatever reason, Pittsburgh kinda splintered off in regards to the tag division and didn't recognize Rivera & Marino as the title holders. It may have been that the head of the Pittsburgh office (still regional at the time) didn't feel those guys could draw as well at the Civic Arena when compared to the hometown boy Bruno and Battman (who was the top face under Bruno at the time in Pittsburgh).
