Old school wwf tapes

I'm a huge fan of the early 90's and late 80's WWF shows, but I can never find any of them for sale and VERY rarely for rent.  To those of you with decent collections, where do you get all them?  Maybe its just that I live in Portland and we're devoid of good entertainment resources, but did you all buy them in stores?  Or did you resort to things like EBay?

All my tapes are recorded from PPV. no way in hell I'd pay 30 bucks a tape.

I get old WWF stuff from the small independant video stores here in Calgary (where I live). They're the ones who can't afford many new releases so they buy old videos from other stores that have gone under. Try phoning all of the smaller video stores in your area and asking if they have some.

I bought some things off ebay but it gets too expensive.  Renting and dubbing is the way to go.

I've mostly bought all of mine from pawn shops when wrestling wasn't all that popular and they were easier to find and some from movie stores like Blockbuster and Rogers Video.

2 VCRs and RCA cable works wonders

 

I get most of my videos from Blockbuster or Hollywood video.  Blockbuster has sales on used tapes that usually go for the price of a rental just to clear inventory space.  There are always hidden treasures at the local rental video shop also.

I rent my Coliseum and Turner Home Entertainement videos from. Photographics. My local Blockbuster Videos don't sell wrestling tapes. Darn them.

You can just as easily find another trader on the net who has an amount of these and trade/purchase with/from him. That's about the quickest if you can't find a video store to dub these tapes from.

It's not really that hard to find a bundle if you are willing to look around alot of places. I've actually found a great deal of Wrestling Videos for sale for cheap prices at gas stations, and I've also been able to talk at least forty off of video stores. I've started collecting master tapes in December and by only spending about three hundered dollars I've picked up 107 [All different tapes, no duplicates.] of em', boxes and all.

 

Of course there are some, I'm sure that e-bay will have to be searched hard to find, but you never know when you might walk into a little rental store to find them getting rid of the wrestling tapes for just a couple dollars a piece. You might not come across luck like I have, but I'm sure you can find a pretty good selection somewhere in the city of Portland.

This might sound really, really stupid BUT i find alot of colisum videos BRAND NEW for ten bucks at porno stores. I  swear to God. There's a huge stack of them when you walk in. And in the back is where all the wips and porno stuff is..... Or so i've been told. I hope this helps.

Check flea markets and garage sales...I have found great luck there finding older wrestling tapes.
