It appears the WWF will soon be breaking Tajiri and Torrie Wilson up. The timing couldn't be better. With Tajiri's recent heel turn and how he's been treating Torrie lately, it's the perfect time to debut a "new love interest" for Tajiri. While everyone doesn't remember that Tajiri was in ECW, many still do. Anyone that does know who Dawn Marie is, will know her from ECW.

 

I would have Tajiri continue to treat Torrie badly, with Kidman trying to talk Torrie into leaving him. Torrie could say she can't because she's in love with him and really wants to work things out with him. They could film vignettes of Torrie doing nice things for Tajiri, including buying him flowers, bringing him dinner, and even giving him a new ring outfit. Every attempt Torrie makes of being nice to him, he still treats her like crap.

 

Torrie then starts finding little hints that Tajiri is cheating on her. She finds lipstick all over Tajiri's face one show, finds a bra in Tajiri's worker bag, and even a used condom in Tajiri's pocket. These are the only times Tajiri treats Torrie as a babyface, as he tries to sweet talk...or should I say "sweet act" his way out of things. After Torrie believes him, he turns into a heel again.

 

They can build up Kidman vs. Tajiri for the PPV with them teasing whose corner Torrie will be in. At Backlash, Torrie takes Tajiri's side. Tajiri could win back the title after he forces Torrie to give him Kidman's belt to hit him with. Torrie doesn't want to but Tajiri makes her.  After the match, Tajiri could break up with Torrie, saying she doesn't do it for him anymore and he has a new woman. What a heel that Tajiri would be, breaking poor Torrie's heart after she helped him beat her friend Kidman.  Dawn Marie comes down to the ring and makes out with Tajiri. Torrie goes to get in Dawn's face, and Dawn sprays Tajiri's green mist into Torrie's eyes.

 

This could continue the Torrie/Kidman/Tajiri story, while including Dawn Marie into the fold. The fans will already be into this storyline before Dawn, so once she arrives into the picture, there will instantly be a purpose for her in the WWF. They could build up to a mix-tag match and have Dawn in the women's division. They could even do a gimmick where Dawn always wins her matches because Tajiri always interferes and helps her win. The pairing of Dawn and Tajiri would be very entertaining.

Errrrrrr...OK. It'd be much better if Dawn Marie came back and managed Lance Storm actually. Help him break his losing streak perhaps? That said, I think the WWF already employs enough eye candy as it is, it doesn't need any more. I'd prefer to see them sign more *gasp* wrestlers.

I just wish that Tommy Fiero would go away forever, and never present this kind of crap to the public. I didn't even read that whole column, as I stoped when he said Dawn Marie should be with Tajiri.

 

I say the ONLY person that Dawn Marie should be with, is Lance Storm. Even he thinks so, and believes will happen, as he's said on his site.

 

If ANYONE gets with Tajiri, it should be The Sinister Minister. That would be one hell of a thing to do it you ask me.

But for once, the eye candy is actually trying to put on some decent matchups.  Jazz, Molly, Lita, Jackie, Trish and Ivory can all put up decent enough matches.  Keep Torrie, Stacy and Terri out of the ring and strictly as valets and I'm happy.

I think Christian and Lance Storm should just be walking, see Dawn Marie, which cause Christian to try and act cool and try and pick her up. After his "cool" actions, she's all "WOW" and Christian's all happy only to see that she goes off with Lance which causes another temper tantrum! And if Billy and Chuck weren't heels, I think this trio could do some damage in the tag team scene.

I would love to see The Impact Players/Dawn Marie reunion take place if a trade is ever made, one way or another.

 

I agree that she should be with Storm.  I also think she could manage Christian, but not necessarily with him and Storm as a team.  Picture this:

 

Christian continues with the temper tantrum gimmick, only to have Dawn debut around the same time as he's hitting a "low point".  Christian becomes infatuated with Dawn, who winds up being his "calming influence" and prevents him from throwing tantrums.  Christian's promos while with a female manager could be gold, especially if he keeps his obnoxious surfer dude style.  

 

It could also set up the Edge and Christian reunion perfectly in a number of ways (Dawn dumps Christian, Storm turns on him, Impact Players reunite, jump Christian...etc.)

Besides Storm, Aldo and Dawn, wasn't there another guy in the Impact Players?  If so who was he and where is he now?

As for Fierro, I'm not sure why they keep him around.  He seems to just regurgitate whatever majority opinion was clogging up the Smarkboard last week, and sometimes provides half-assed fantasy booking.  Like the above, for instance: doesn't it remind anyone else a LOT of the Hogan-Savage feud at Wrestlemania V?  And he actually asked for Torrie to "wrestle" more.  Sigh.

He made an appearance on ECW PPV at Anarchy Rulz '99, and was scheduled to face Rob Van Dam until Balls Mahoney laid him out and took his place.

First off, that sounds too much like the "Latino Heat" break up of Eddie & Chyna. She suspects he is cheating, and he sweet talks her, so she comes back and all.

 

Also, Taijiri is more than capable of getting over by himself. He got over in ECW with ring work, and he can do it in the WWF too. Shit, he got over in the WWF by being Regal's stooge.

 

If, when, Dawn Marie comes in, she should go with someone who can use her to get heat. I say just bring in Simon Diamond and keep the real life couple together.

 

Then again, I think that Steve Corino should have been signed a long time ago, so what do I know?

Nicole Bass was also in the Impact Players for awhile. Of course, that was before they started going the "Impact Playerz" name. It was a little bit before Justin Credible & Lance Storm started a feud w/ Tommy Dreamer & Shane Douglas because Storm & Credible both wanted to be the next ECW "Franchise" whereas Douglas wanted to give the name to Dreamer.

Everybody complains about the WWF bringing in the NWO for a lot of money and how Goldberg woiuld demand a lot of money coming in. How come nobody mentions how the wrestlers would feel about signing another valet that would do zero as far as bringing any heat for one of the wrestlers? In my opinion, the WWF has an ample amount of women and Dawn Marie would not be a priority of mine if I was to bring in more women.

Dawn Marie is a great character. She is hilarious too. I think she brings soemthing to the table.
