Wwf forceable entry

Well I got the cd last week and thought I'd give my two cents on it, especially after reading the them songs post from last week.

 

I usually buy the WWF CDS (except for Agression) cuz I like to listen to the themes every once and a while.  But FE is not just a themes cd, its like a regualr comp albulm.  I know I may get some heat from this from serious music fans and metals heads, so I apologize beforehand as I'm not a great judge of music.  But I like this CD, even more then the last cd (music vol 5).  So here's a list of the songs and my thoughts:

 

1.Drowning Pool Redo of "The Game" (HHH):  I will agree with most everyone else and say that the motorhead version is way better as a theme for Trips, but this version is not that bad and somewhat catchy (again don't crucify me please).  Not that I like the band or anything.

 

2.Kid Rock "Legs for Stacy":  This song sucks.  That's all I can say.  But I guess it's fitting for Stacy.

 

3.  Creed "Young Grows Old"  Not a theme song.  why is it here?

 

4.  Disturbed "Glass Shatters" Stone Cold's Cold theme from when he came back in late 2000 to his turn to the alliance:

Now this is cool entrance music.  Now as much as I like the classic theme, this song rocks, despite the lack of lyrics.  So sue me, I like it.  Woulda made more sense to have this on vol 5 though.

 

5.  Limp Bizkit "Rollin" Undertaker theme:  This is the regualr version of the song, except without the bong at the beginning and adds a motorcycle sound to the background.  Pretty cool I guess, though it's getting old

 

6. Our Lady Peace "Whatever" for Benoit:  This song is very cool and   would make a great video with clips of Benoit.  Don't think it could be used for an entrance though.

 

7.  Rob Zombie "Never Gonna Stop" Edge's them:  I don't get it.  This is not the same version as Edge uses, it's a weird remix and I don't like it.  I gues Rob didn't want thme using the real track from his cd.

 

8.  Breaking Point "One of A Kind" RVD Theme:  This song RULES.  and I have to disaagree with many of you, as I think the full version is better then his soundbite entrance theme version, but the full version wouldnt work as a entrance theme.

 

9.Marilyn Manson "Beatiful People" smackdown theme, nuff said

 

10.  Union Underground "Across the Nation"Raw them.  pretty good

 

11.  Sevendust "Break The Walls Down" Jerichos theme: I like the original version better, but this is ok.

 

12.  Saliva "Turn the Tables" dudleys theme:  same as on tv. good song for the duds.  funny to hear a singer yell get the tables though.

 

13.  Monster Magnet "Live for The Moment" for the hardys:  cool song about them, but not entrance material.

 

14.  Stereomud  "End of Everything" Raven's theme.  Cool version of Raven's theme with lyrics,, but they would be better served to find a better song.

 

15. Neurotica "Ride of Your Life"  Not a theme song:  Ok song

 

16.  Cypress Hill "Just Another Victim" Tazz' Theme:  I like this song and it fits Tazz's "Street Thug: charcter well.  too bad hes just an announcer now.   Cool cuz it has Joey Styles in the background talking about tazz (taken from ecw tv shows i guess).

 

17.Dope "No Chance" Vinny Mac theme: Original is better, though this fits too.

 

18.  Boy Hits Car "LoveFuryPassionEnergy":  I'll say it again: why does Lita have cooler entrance music than most of the guys?

 

All in all, I like this CD and give it 7 out of 10.  If they had put some more real themes on there it would be better.

I can't wait for the Anthalogy set to come out (if it ever does)
