The just-married country star was forced to surrender her license for a year after she pleaded guilty Tuesday to charges of drunken driving. Judd was fined $350 and given an 11-month, 29-day suspended sentence, during which she will be on probation. The "Heaven Help Me" singer will also be performing 200 hours of community service as a consequence of her DUI arrest, which occurred after an evening out drinking with the girls last month. Judd's Land Rover was clocked going 47 miles per hour in a 30 mile-per-hour zone. When Nashville's finest flagged the star down, they detected a distinct boozy fragrance on a watery-eyed Judd. Judd couldn't tell the officers exactly how much alcohol she'd consumed--but a Breathalyzer test registered her at 0.175, more than twice the legal limit of 0.08. The arrest marked the end of a night of celebration. "I had been out celebrating my upcoming wedding and a girlfriend's birthday last night and clearly let my excitement get the best of me," Judd said in a statement. She was arrested as a bachelorette, but had her day in court as a married woman after tying the knot with her longtime bodyguard D. R. Roach last month. "I know that we can make it through anything because we have been coworkers and friends for the last 10 years," Judd said at the time of her engagement. The family-oriented singer landed her first recording contract in 1984 with mom Naomi, as the mother-daughter team the Judds. The pair climbed the charts to become the most popular duo in country music history. Naomi was forced to stop performing in 1991 after she was diagnosed with hepatitis C, and Wynonna went on to launch her highly successful solo career in 1992. The singer's sixth studio album, What the World Needs Now Is Love, debuted at number one in August 2003 on the Billboard country music chart.
