2GOLD Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 I love how people are saying Brady can't make it from leading the Pats because of his stats but McNabb can make it because of his teams record despite having horrible stats. What the hell kind of double standard is that? If Brady doesn't deserve to go then McNabb doesn't. And if McNabb does then they better clear room for Brady.
the pinjockey Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 You can't compare the AFC and NFC QBs. Brady isn't going because: Manning - MVP candidate McNair - MVP candidate Green - Has better numbers and the team is right there McNabb is going against a lesser group of QBs in the NFC. If McNabb was in the AFC he would have no chance, whereas if Brady was in the NFC he would probably go.
the pinjockey Posted December 21, 2003 Report Posted December 21, 2003 Just to clarify, I really don't think McNabb deserves to go, but using him in regards to a Brady comparison is irrelevant.
Vern Gagne Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 Culpepper is starting for the NFC. Mike Tice leaked the news tonight on his tv show.
Guest Jimbo Posted December 22, 2003 Report Posted December 22, 2003 LaVar Arrinngton has as much of a reason to play in the Pro Bowl as I do... Granted, it's not entirely his fault as the defense is constantly changed and he has yet to be able to play his position to his strengths because of it, but he has still stunk pretty much every year he's been in Washington
