Randy Orton above MATT FUCKING HARDY!? What the hell is going on here!?

[Not an Orton hater - I think he's bearable. But Matt Hardy is God compared to Mr. Green]

What did HBK contribute? 30 matches?

13. SHAWN MICHAELS (WWE; LYP: NL) The fairy tale comeback went from strength to strength in 2003 for the all-new 'Heartbreak Kid'...Lost the World title to Triple H in a sloppy Three Stages Of Hell brawl at Armageddon...Verbal and in-ring altercations with Chris Jericho were altogether more rewarding...Pinned Jericho in a classic WrestleMania battle on March 30...Man who once claimed he "would not lie down for anybody" changed his attitude towards jobbing...Tapped out to Jericho in another cracker on the July 21 RAW...Bounced around like a pinball to make Bill Goldberg look like a killer in the SummerSlam Elimination Chamber match, and put Randy Orton over in a decent bout at Unforgiven...Entered a tour de force at Survivor Series...38-year-old can still go like 'The Showstopper' of old when the occasion demands.

Tapped out to Jericho in another cracker on the July 21 RAW

"He tapped out to Jericho in a boring fuckass match when he should have let the younger man go over clean at the far superior meeting at Mania 19" is how that sentence SHOULD read. The rest of it is pretty true.

since most americans probably aren't aware, power slam is the longest running wrestling mag in the u.k. it grew from apterlike markish beginnings over 10 years ago to being quite a smart publication. the PS50 is an annual list based on in-ring performance over the previous 12 months and is a fairly well regarded poll over here. they get good in-depth interviews with top names fairly often names such as paul heyman & mick foley often sing its praises as the best mainstream wrestling mag available. fin martin is the longtime editor, the others are staff writers. greg lambert is also, i believe, a manager in the FWA promotion.

Do they get their interviews the same way PWI does?

i have no idea how PWI get their interviews. PS conduct them over the phone or in person, so presumably the same yes.

I'm not writing all of them out, but i'll write Danielson's for you...

36. BRYAN DANIELSON (IND; LYP: 15) The artist sometimes known as American Dragon ended 2002 in a hard-hitting four-way draw with Low Ki, Samoa Joe and Steve Corino in Philadelphia...Defeated Joe in a powerful collision on ROH's first anniversary show on February 8...Returned to New Japan in March as American Dragon...Lost a belting 40-minute match to Paul London on April 12 in Philadelphia...After another excursion to Japan in May, relocated to England where he wrestled for numerous promotions, including All-Star and the FWA and on the holiday camp circuit...Returned to ROH on November 1 and put over old rival A.J. Styles in a stunner...Well-travelled technician wrestles like a star but doesn't look like one - which will forever hold him back.

So they're saying Van Dam, Taker, Hass, Christian are better wrestlers than Danielson....because he doesn't "look like a star" ???

Grr.... <_<

They also had a good one this year with Christopher Daniels, where they finally ended the rumour that Daniels was in the Spiderman movie.

The list is based purely on in-ring contributions. The last sentence of each profile is merely a summation of where the man is at this point in his career and/or a prediction for the future.

If it's based on ring-performance, then HOW IN THE FUCK can RVD, Booker T, Taker, etc... be above Danielson?

It's absurd.
