Guest 5_moves_of_doom Report post Posted April 20, 2002 Also, in Clerks I can't stand the whole scene with Silent Bob's Russian cousin singing, can someone explain why that's funny? Well, if you look real carefully in JSBSB, Jay is wearing a Berserker shirt. Well, that still doesn't tell me what Smith was thinking when he wrote that seen. Even though that is kinda funny, JSBSB didn't come out until recently so it wouldn't have been funny until just now when they made that movie. What how is a Berserker shirt only funny now? And you mean the WWF Berserker? I never knew he had a shirt! Well, that still doesn't tell me what Smith was thinking when he wrote that seen. And you mean the WWF Berserker? I never knew he had a shirt! No, I mean the shirt Jay is wearing in JSBSB. Let me put it into different terms. Let's say I'm watching Clerks and it's like the year 1995 or something. JSBSB hasn't come out. Now, I see the Berserker seen. It's total crap, I don't get why it's funny, and just wastes time that could be used for more seens of Jay and Silent Bob dancing Now, when JSBSB comes out, I see Jay wearing the shirt, and think, "Hey that's kind of funny because very few people will notice or get that." Now it might be a little funny. But what I was pointing out is that when Kevin Smith was writing that seen, what the hell was he thinking? Why did he think that was funny? Anyhoo, does anyone know why this is funny? By the way, I'm a huge Kevin Smith fan and am looking forward to "Jersey Girl" even though Jay and Bob aren't gonna be in it.
