"New" Astroboy trailer 2003 series

Samurai Jack's back on YTV. Well, tonight anyway. Episode 49 out of 52 though which is gonna screw up my trying to watch the show in chronological order. Although it's not as important to watch this show in its proper order as say LOST I'm not sure about the last episodes of the series. Unfortunately being at episode 49 means that once they finish up they'll probably go back to Ep 1 which means that the 3rd DVD set will probably be out by the time YTV catches up to the eps I haven't seen. Can't remember off the top of my head when that comes out though.

Since there are now more ratings of the Samurai Jack TV show from TVtome.com I thought it'd be interesting to see what veiwers of Samuari Jack deem as the best eps. We did this before but the order has now changed.

 

 

1 50. L: Tale Of X9 9.9 WP -- Never seen this one. Will be seeing it in a couple of days though

 

 

2 35. XXXV: Jack And The Haunted House 9.7

 

 

3 7. VII: Jack And The Three Blind Archers 1 review 9.6 WP -- Maybe my favourite of the series. Everything that Samurai Jack represents is in this episodes. Extreamly cool ep.

 

 

4 32. XXXII:Jack And The Travelling Creatures 9.6 WP -- Samurai Jack fan or not everybody has to watch this episode. Could be my fav of the series. I think this is a stroyline that has never been finished but I could be wrong on that. The last fight scene is complete and total mark out city. The main charactor at the end with Jack is charamatic to the bone and adds a lot to the episode. Loved the quote at the end and for that alone I give this a 10 out of 10.

 

 

5 38. XXXVIII: The Birth Of Evil (Part 2 of 2) 9.6 WP -- Haven't seen. I think is an emmy winning episode.

 

 

6 44. XLIV: The Princess And The Bounty Hunters 9.5 WP - Haven't seen

 

 

7 48. XLVIII: Jack versus Aku 9.4 WP -- Haven't seen

 

 

8 36. XXXVI: Jack, The Monks, And The Ancient Master's Son 9.4

 

WP -- Can't really remember how good this one is. I know I liked it and they tribute an old Commodore 64 fighting game in this.

 

 

9 18. XVIII: Jack And The Ultra-robots 9.4 -- WP Terrific ep

 

 

10 25. XXV: Jack And The Spartans 9.4 WP -- More for others than it is for me. Another emmy award winning ep I think

 

 

11 30. XXX: Jack And The Zombies 9.3 WP -- Haven't seen yet

 

 

12 11. XI: Jack And The Scotsman 9.3 WP -- Super episode and they tribute Yojimbo in this. Just too short thought as I wish it would've gone longer. They should've made it a two parter. The whole confrontation between Jack and the Scotsman and everything around that is some of the best stuff I've seen from anywhere.

 

 

13 49. XLIX: The 4 Seasons Of Death 1 review 9.2 WP -- Watched this the other day and it completely rules. I thought having 4 short stories would hold the quality back but it didn't at all and in actuality the shortness actually helped some of the stories. The ending left some questions open and hopefuly someday we'll see a conclusion to it.

 

 

14 20. XX: Jack And The Monks 9.2 -- WP -- Yes, I'm glas to see people taking to this episode. Basically Jack loses his eye of the tiger and has to regain it by climbing a snowy mountain along with 3 monks. Watching it for the first time it is unpredictable on what is going to happen. You can feel Jack's unending battle with himself and his setbacks in this one which is real nice.

 

 

15 10. X: Jack And The Lava Monster 9.2 WP -- Some of this will remind you of a video game.

 

 

16 43. XLIII: The Aku Infection 9.2 WP -- Haven't seen

 

 

17 14. XIV: Jack Learns To Jump Good 9.1 "Jump Good". That's all that needs to be said. Hilarious quote

 

 

18 19. XIX: Jack Remembers The Past 9.1 WP -- Great. They go a long time in this without even saying in a world. My fav part was Jack running through the grass with his friend.

 

19 28. XXVIII: Jack And The Rave 9.1 -- Brilliant ep. Sometimes I find the humour in this show off both in the respect it's not my type of humour and other times like it's put in just to make someone happy. However, this one is legit hilarious. Jack with the soother = Gold.

 

 

 

One of my favourite episodes I see only got an 8.4. That was "The Good, The Bad and the Beautiful" which is 30 of my favourite minutes ever from TV.
