Now I read Jesuit Pig's post in the Gneral chat thread "Funniest Tihngs" and it got me to thinking...how do wrestlers prevents getting boners during matches? Do they take a drugor something? Now I dont mean a sexual thing. Like erection pop up out of nowhere sometimes. Suppose if in Novas first match he pops a boner jsut because. Id say word would get around that hes some homo pervert or something and it eventually leads to a quick release like they had with Stasiak the first time. Just wondering. Guest Report post Posted April 11, 2002 The only time I remember it happening was when Terri was getting Meat all turned on before a Heat match with the Bossman. She kept him hard until he had to wrestle and he even had a hardon during the match because the Bossman took full advantage of that. I think I remeber that. But he wasnt hard during the match. Did they try to make him look hard? I think it would look pretty stupid if they were talking about him being aroused and it didnt look it. I know it seems like you never will, but it's simply not the case that grown men walk around with erections the way that 13-year-old guys do. Second, when you're wrestling, it just doesn't happen. Oh, I'm sure if you THOUGHT about sex you COULD get an erection, but why would you? In short, theoretically a good question, but it just doesn't happen. It is theoretically possible, but the fact is when you're in the ring you are more concerned with remembering your spots and trying to keep the match going than thinking about sex. Like what? The Wrestlers wear something underneath their tights, they aren't designed to stop you from getting an erection but it does that anyway. I can't remember what it is. That being said, Christian and Kurt Angle often sport boners on the way to the ring and retain them during matches. I've also seen the odd UT boner sprouted while in the ring. (It's hard to miss). Now from what I understand, and have heard of... Sometimes wrestlers and other athletes simply wear a pair of short tights underneath, which holds stuff down and prevents anything from really happening. But Ace309 is right though. In a match you'd be concentrating on the those proceedings. Even if you don't wear a layer of tights underneath, if you don't think about sex, nothing will occur. One story about this happening though was recalled by Blitzkrieg (former WCW wrestler, anyone remember him?) at Zero-Respect. Basically a prankster, which I think was Norman Smiley, stole his gear before a match. Therefore, there was nothing to hold his junk down during the match. I think you know what happens from there. Those guys may have experienced that in late teen years, etc, but they are all in their 20's and 30's ( some older i know). That sort of thing goes away.
