Kane Bradshaw and Austin are the main event faces. Yes, that is sad.

I know that, and you know that, but apparently X-Pac doesn't know that. I definately see the nWo running around in the main event of Raw every week. They are getting pushed trowards the mains whether anyone likes it or not.

Jericho and Angle ran around the main events week after week and look where it got them. Either the booking team will blow it or the fans won't buy it. I mean, it's X-Pac and Scott Hall. Until the get Nash back, nobody will see them as a threat.

Yeah, I can see Stephanie fucking Hunter's friends over. Yeah, sure.

Do you think that will stop them? No one wanted Hunter as champion but he just MARCHED on in and took the belt. Face it, HHH only cares about his own interests, which include his friends, and as long as he is banging Stephy Baby, He's going to get what he wants.

You're over-exagerrating on the Hunter part. The booking team blew his comeback. Hunter's still over.

Anglesault, where the hell do you get the idea that Steph is totally in control of the booking commitee? Or that Hunter's going to not know when he's putting his career, his salary, his source of employment, on the line when it comes to choosing between him and his friends. For a guy that took the fall for these guys, saw what HBK did to him, I'm surprised he let them in the door. But he's not stupid, no matter what you want to believe, and when it comes to his lifestyle and his friends, he's not going to take his friends. But they have had good ratings since their return, and good buyrates, and good house show attendance, he'll see where the changes need to be made and he'll dump. There's some famous Hamlet line I'm looking to close this out with now, but you get the idea. Triple H had three of the best teachers ever, but he knows when they are not needed.

Oh, Ok then. But wait a minute, who is the head booker?

Anglesault, where the hell do you get the idea that Steph is totally in control of the booking commitee?

For one, she is the head booker, two, who the hell is going to say "no" to dady's little girl, and three, the only people that have been doing well since January are Hunter and to a lesser extent, his friends. Angle has been buried. RVD has been buried. Jericho has been buried. Rock got neutered. Austin got depushed. Hunter seems to be doing fine.

But he's not stupid, no matter what you want to believe

No way is he stupid. it takes a very smart man to do what he has done.

lifestyle and his friends, he's not going to take his friends.

Okay, so when is he going to stop taking his friends?

But they have had good ratings since their return, and good buyrates, and good house show attendance

I wouldn't know. But if that's true, why does that give them they key to the castle?

Undisputed WWF Title

HHH vs. Hulk Hogan

--> Piss break!

#1 Contenders Match

Steve Austin vs. Undertaker

--> I'm not gonna immediately call this dead, but they're gonna have to work extra hard for it.

Kurt Angle vs. Edge

--> Given time, could be good... I don't think this will reach ****, but it will could still be good.

Intercontinental Title

RVD vs. Eddy Guerrero

--> This could take MotN easily. Go RVD!

Cruiserweight Title

Kidman vs. Tajiri

--> Could also take MotN, or ****. If they get time.

I'm sure we'll see a gay Kane & Bradshaw vs. nWo match

--> Well I like Kane and Bradshaw, so nyeah. As long as they work stiff on the NWO, maybe "accidentally" bust them open, then I like it. Too bad they won't.

I suppose we'll have to see a tag title match...looks like Al Snow & Maven from where I sit.

--> Let Maven do more than a dropkick and get pinned, and this could be good.

They may put Regal vs. Spike rematch on ppv...cause that = ratings.

--> Needs a miracle.

Probably a Lesner vs. the Hardys match

--> If done right, this could actually be good. *checks to see if the planets are aligned*

They may throw in a Hardcore match of somekind too...woopee

--> Oooooh yeeeeaaaa, diggit!

What about guys like Jericho, Booker, Hurricane, Christian, Val Venis, DDP, Raven, Lance Storm and for godsake Funaki.

--> A House show 149 miles away.

Or it could be as boring as every other boring Edge match that was attached to a boring Edge feud.

All roads lead to Vince. What people don't realize is that Steph doesn't have quite as much power is she is supposed to have. The main problem is that Vince does agree with her on most issues, and his friends (Patterson por ejemplo) seem to agree with him. Now towards WrestleMania when Heyman and Ace had the book and she was siding with Heyman, and right after he was ousted, that's when she had very little power. If Daddy does say no to his little girl, and that was happening alot during the late-summer months, I wouldn't be too surprised. But it's a chain of influence, and the good bookers are on the outside looking in. So it's not like people weren't saying no to her, and people weren't influencing here, but now they're out of the power circle.

AS for the RVD push, did anyone actually expect that since he was over he wasn't going to have to "pay his dues". The only people who don't pay their dues are proven draws, which is the worst thing about the WWF hierarchy. And Austinwasn't being de-pushed. He was being asked by the booking commitee to put over what they believed was a main event level, big drawing angle. That's a whole lot of faith in his ability to give a rub.

He'll stop taking his friends when they prove useless. 1.3 or 1.4 million buys for Mania. 800,000 for No Way Out or something like that. House show numbers are up. Those are Vince's bread and butter, that's where he makes his money. Until that starts to crumble, he's got no choice. That's why he "neutered" the Rock, because the fans turned on Rock at WrestleMania. But if Triple H sees things flailing, because he makes his living in the business and loves it, he'll kick them o the curb. I'm once again surprised they were let in the door considering the way they left and put all the weight on Hunter. But when thsoe numbers are down, and the panic sinks in, the NWO are just intangibles.

Lucy the Dog doesn't reek "Heyman"

Were Test and Goldust REALLY necessary? And why couldn't he finish up with Jericho?

They wanted him to job to Scott "Never was" Hall, 78485 matches from the top, who, I might add, was making a fool of himself at that point and showed up to Mania hung over.

So why were Angle and Jericho depushed?

I meant right around last year's WrestleMania.

Hindsight being 20/20, they had no idea Hall would be drinking in the hotel bar.

Angle and Jericho basically, in management's eyes, blew their spots. Speaking from a management perspective, Angle had a so-so title reign as a heel, in which he was never strong, and as a face he bombed. Jericho was given two wins over the big two and Stephanie McMahon and yet didn't succeed. Now, that doesn't mean that it's not the booking team's fault, but they're not going to look at it that way.

Well.....I think Austin and UT could be alright. I mean if anyone can drag something out of UT it's Austin. Then again Austin will see who he's facing and think "Ah hell....why bust my ass if he won't!?" and go into brawling Austin mode.

Undertaker's been busting his ass alot lately. The only real problem is with Austin, whether he reverts to brawling or just doesn't feel motivated at all. Taker definately will work up to his opponent.

IMO, UT seems to try harder and sell better (and more) against Austin than anyone else.  Save the Flair match, because I think that was actually his best match since coming back in 2000 from his injuries.

Okay, Hunter is having an awful title reign. Will they do the same thing to him?

On the other hand, If HHH insists on staying a face, then the only LOGICAL (Stephanie?  Yeah right) choices ARE Angle & Jericho.  And possibly Benoit in the future.

No, the only logical choices are Hall, Nash and X-Pac. We have to use Hunter logic here.

Well, Al Snow and Maven vs. Billy and Chuck has been made official (check 411). I think they might go with the Tazz and Spike route on this one and give Maven and Snow the belts after some mis-timed Rico interference. Maybe that'll open up the gates for some new competition for the belts.

Maybe.

I think Snow and Maven will lose to the Megadorks. It will at lest give them something to do. Plus: GRAND SLAM, BAYBEE!

Common logic and Hunter logic (nlHLogic?) are two totally different things.

So, uh...isn't there an incredible double standard if Hall, Nash, and X-Pac are main eventers because they main event RAW, but Angle is a midcarder despite the fact that he main events Smackdown?  You're openly contradicting yourself, 'Sault.

They are billing Angle/Edge as a midcard feud. nWo/HossWO is supposed to be a main event feud.

HEY! Someone says something POSITIVE! Where's my camera?

Taker busting ass = Taker mark happy

This has been the Taker Mark...who surprisingly is a fan of the Undertaker

Hey, I'm not going to deny that Taker is busting his ass lately. Hell, if it was Taker/HHH/HhH at Backlash, Taker would be the workhorse.
