Guest Brian Report post Posted February 9, 2002 This was the first Fantasy Booking I did that I wrote for the old Smarks Board, so I decided that I'll start from the beginning and post two a day until I'm caught up. RAW IS WAR – 10/29/01 X-Pac vs. Tajiri The show starts with X-Pac music. He makes his way down to the ring, as both his and Tajiri’s titles are on the line. Next out is Tajiri, who makes his way to the ring with a nice chorus of cheers. The bell rings and both men meet in the center of the ring with a grapple, and X-Pac takes control with a headlock. X-Pac works the headlock into an arm-bar. Tajiri taps the arm, rolls, and kip-ups catching X-Pac with his own hold. He throws a wild spinning high kick, but X-Pac ducks and goes running against the rope. Tajiri leapfrogs X-Pac after the first bounce, and tries to catch him with a superkick coming off the second rope, but X-Pac bails and decides to leave. Tajiri goes bouncing off the ropes, and hits tope through the ropes, as X-Pac turns around and catches him. Tajiri gets up, a little hurt, and rolls X-Pac back in the ring for a pin. 1-2-kick out. Tajiri pulls X-Pac up, throws him into the corner, and works him with some chops and punches. X-Pac reverses an irish whip, and sends Tajiri running into the other corner. X-Pac comes running up but gets locked into the Tarantula. The referee breaks the hold, and Tajiri pushes X-Pac back into the corner. Tajiri goes for a tornado DDT, but X-Pac lifts Tajrii off, and tries to hit the spinning heel kick. Tajir ducks that, tries to hit a superkick of his own, but X-Pac sidesteps that, and misses a clothesline and hits referee Mike Chiota. Tajiri, kicks X-Pac once, send him to the ropes, get reversed, and Tajiri ends up hitting the springboard elbow. He tries pinning X-Pac, but the ref is still out. Tajiri pulls X-Pac up, and lifts him for the brainbuster. After hitting the move, Tajiri gets back up and sets up for the big kick. Suddenly, out of the crowd comes Rey Mysterio Jr. who hits a tope rope hurricanrana on Tajiri. An Alliance referee runs in as X-Pac rolls over and gets the three count at 7:43, unifying both titles once again. In the back, Stone Cold and William Regal are seen welcoming Rey Mysterio Jr. to the Alliance. Rey Mysterio says he knows one more person that would be a huge boost to the Alliance. <Commercial Break> X-Pac is seen talking to Mick Foley in the back. “No one is worthy of challenging me for these belts anymore. They might as well just lie down and let me pin them, because there’s no point in having me break a sweat.” Mick replies, “Maybe I can do something about that…” Vince makes his way to the ring. He’s here to announce one thing: a WWF title match is being made for Survivor Series, but not just any WWF title match, the biggest title match in the history of the company. Austin’s music hits, and he’s down by the ring. He asks Vince what he’s thinking; Austin is the greatest champ he’s ever had. No one has ever made Vince as rich as Austin. Vince replies by saying Austin’s not worthy of that title anymore, and it’s about time he did something. Vince says the Rock and Austin are going to do battle once again, for the WWF title and the fate of the two companies. Shane’s music hits, and he comes marching down to the ring. He’s there to complain, but it’s pointless because Vince has control over the WWF title. Shane and Austin then rant on how HHH dominated the company while Austin was on the shelf, leaving Rock as the weak link. Rock has never been a strong champion. Furthermore, they remind Vince that the Rock has never, ever defeated Austin in the big match, proving that he was really the choker all along and not Jericho. Angle is shown arriving at the building, seemingly unaware of what just happened in the ring. Heyman announces that RVD has just issued an open challenge to all contender, on the recommendation of Austin that RVD should embrace all opportunities. <Commercial Break> We return to the show with Shane Helms offering a formal apology to Stone Cold. Austin says he can compete, but they only way to win back Austin’s faith in him is gold. Same goes for any other Alliance guys. They have to earn their way back on the team. Helms walks away. Rod Van Dam’s music hits. Van Dam has declared an open invitation to all wrestlers earlier. Kanyon’s music hits, and he has a mic. He rants about how little respect RVD has shown to their leader Stone Cold and he doesn’t deserve to represent them with the Hardcore title. He mentions he had a talk with their great leader earlier and he straightened Kanyon out. RVD vs. Kanyon Kanyon runs in and gets kick to the jaw for his effort. RVD throws him against the ropes and hits a spinning heel kick. He drops the leg for a two. Both men are back up, and RVD punches Kanyon to the rope, and sends him running. RVD throws a lariat and misses, and Kanyon, out of instinct, stops behind RVD and throws a dropkick to his head. RVD staggers, and Kanyon hits a huge lariatooo! to the back of his head. Kanyon pins RVD for two, then begins to pound on the back of his neck. Kanyon picks RVD up, and suplexes him and floats over for a two. Kanyon throws RVD’s head against the top turnbuckle, turns him around and hits a DDT for two. Kanyon picks him up again and tosses him against the ropse and hits a swinging clothesline for two. Kanyon gets frustrated, then grabs RVD and tosses him out of the ring. Kanyon grabs a chair, and swings at RVD but he ducks. Kanyon turns and gets hit by a Van Daminator, and both men are down outside of the ring. RVD rolls over and tries to pin him, and gets a two and a half. RVD slowly pulls himself and Kanyon up, but Kanyon breaks it and they go to a puching brawl. RVD whips Kanyon, but Kanyon reverses it and throws RVD into the steel steps. Another pin attempt for Kanyon garners a two and a half. Kayon pulls the top steps off, and prepare to give RVD a flatliner into them. RVD tries to elbow out, but Kanyon ducks the third elbow and lifts RVD up for a backdrop. RVD flips out of that, and hits a superkick for two. RVD rolls him into the ring, throws the chair in and hits a spinning leg drop. He puts the chair on Kanyon’s ribs, and climbs the ropes to the top. Kanyon staggers up, and has just enough strength to give RVD a hard whack to the head with the chair. RVD grabs his neck and crotches himself. Kanyon puts the chair toward the middle of the rings, slowly staggers over to RVD, punches him one, and climbs the turnbuckle. He grabs his head and prepares to superplex him, ala Austin, and RVD gets on the top ropes to go over. Out of nowhere, RVD pushes Kanyon off and he hits the chair. RVD hits the five-star frog splash for the pin at 10:27. Regal enters his office to find Foley and X-Pac there. X-Pac complains about the lack of competition, and Foley hands him a sheet of paper. Regal takes it, looks at X-Pac (who looks back at him questioningly), and smirks. He grabs a pen off the desk, signs it, and says he’s going to the ring to make an announcement. <Commercial break> Regal is on his way down to the ring. He says he’s got an announcement to make, and he’s here on the behalf of him and Mick Foley. Since they each have control of their respective light-heavyweight titles, they have both come to the conclusion that X-Pac needs new competitors to fight. That’s why he welcomed Rey Mysterio Jr., but yet they have no way to decide who is the number one contender. He invites all the Alliance cruiseweights to the ring; Rey Mysterio Jr., Shane Helms, Chavo Guerrero, and Kidman make their way to the ring. Before Regal can get on his mic again, Foley comes down saying that his six WWF light-heavyweights need to be present for this announcement too. Tajiri, Essa Rios, TAKA, Funaki, Spike Dudley, and Matt Hardy are on their way down. Foley announces that there will be a round-robin cruiserweight G-1, with six people in each block, for a shot at both titles. The top two and each block will face each other in single elimination for the shot at X-Pac belts. This tournament will take place mostly on house shows, but will have a few featured matches each week on RAW, SmackDown, and HEAT. The light-heavyweight wrestlers applaud Foley and Regal, and JR says that this could be one of the greatest happenings in sports-entertainment history. In the back, Stone Cold is shown talking to Tazz saying he should drop the gut and consider kicking everyone’s ass in that tournament. Tazz looks at Austin’s stomach, and says he should do as he preaches. Austin replies by saying Tazz can work out his smart mouth in a match with Alliance member Mike Awesome, and while he’s at it, he can wrestle every night until “he learns himself some respect”. <Commercial Break> JR and Paul Heyman recap what just happened. JR mentions that Heyman only had four of his six wrestlers. Heyman tells JR that all questions will be answered in due time. The camera pan away to the entrance way for Edge’s music. Intercontinental Championship Edge vs. Test The big man gets the chance for the Alliance tonight. Test makes a blind charge, and Edge ducks and starts hitting the right hands. He pushes him up against the ropes, and whips him across the ring. Test hits the opposite end, and comes charging with a big boot. Edge ducks and Test continues to the other side. A Test clothesline is ducked and as soon as he hits the other ropes, Edge hits a dropkick sending him to the outside. Test lands standing but staggers, giving Edge enough to time slide through with a baseball slide. Test is sent to the barrier. Edge grabs his hair and drags him to the announce table. He tries to throw his head against the table, but Test blocks, throws an elbow to his stomach, and lifts him onto the tabletop. Edge hits his abs again, and is down. Test stomps him down, then rolls him in the ring. Back in the ring, Test hits a gutbuster for two. He gets frustrated, and starts to lay the hard forearms into the abs. He lifts Edge up, and hits an inverted suplex. He gets up on the second-rope, and follows up with an elbow to the abs. Pin for two. He picks Edge up and whips him against the ropes, and goes for a kitchen sink but Edge hops that into a schoolboy for two. Test beats Edge to the punch, lays in a few right hands, a knee to the abs, and tries to whip him again. Edge reverses, but Test holds on. Test pulls through and locks in an abdominal stretch on Edge. All of a sudden, Christian runs in and breaks up the hold for a DQ at 5:11. Test looks horrified at Christian, then they both turn around and knock down Edge as he tries to get up. Test continues to beat Edge down, while Christian grabs a chair from the outside. Test picks Edge up, and Christian pushes the front edge of the chair into Edge’s stomach. Christian and Test laugh as they leave the ring. Heyman says that they should have finished him off with a one-man conchairto. JR says it was insulting the way they set Edge up. Rock bumps into Jericho in the back, who congratulates him on his title match-up. Jericho mentions that Rock couldn’t beat him, so how can he beat Austin. Rock says that although Austin cheats to win, at least he can expect that from him. <Commercial Break> Heyman and JR recap us on what just happened. Edge was able to stand up and make his way to the back, but is being taken in for X-Rays. Lance Storm and the Hurricane are shown talking in the back. Helms says this tournament should be a cake-walk for a superhero. Tazz vs. Mike Awesome Awesome comes running at Tazz and hits a clothesline. Awesome pulls Tazz up, throws him against the ropes, and hits a belly-to-belly for two. Awesome goes for an Awesome bomb, but Tazz pulls out and hits the floor. He grabs a table from out under the ring, but Awesome does a baseball slide into the table Tazz is holding and knocks him down. Awesome sets up the table, and once again tries to hit the Awesome bomb on Tazz. Tazz powers out and reverses, sending Awesome flipping over onto the floor. Tazz stagger, waits for Awesome to arise, then hit a Tazplex into the table. Taz collapses, then slowly get up and rolls Awesome into the ring. Tazz locks in the Tazmission for the KO at 3:47. Al Snow and Maven are shown in the back watching a monitor. <Commercial Break> X-Pac leaves the building. Cole catches up to him and ask him how he feels. X-Pac: “I can’t believe they’d do this. I’m the king of this division, and I could beat all these guys without breaking a sweat. I should be the center of attention. Wait until they hear about this.” US Champinoship Kurt Angle vs. Eddie Guerrero JR mentions that only a select crowd were watching Eddie’s re-debut last weekend, just like only those who come out to the live WWF house shows can see the awesome cruiserweight matches. Eddie and Angle go to a grapple. Eddie works it into a headlock and takes him down with a drop toe-hold. Eddie now crosses Angle’s legs and slaps him on the back. He pulls back his neck and lifts him up into a bow-and-arrow stretch. Angle quickly break it and lands on top of Eddie for a one count. Both men come back up, and Eddie points to his head, signaling he’s a few steps ahead of Angle. Kurt makes a blind charge and Eddie pushes him into the corner, and follows through with a roll-up. Angle kicks out, but Eddie pulls him up and whips him into the ropes. Leapfrog followed by cross-body for Eddie. Two count there. Eddie pulls Kurt up by the arm, gives it a twist, and hits two shoulder blocks. Eddie then twists his arm to flip Kurt over, and hits a leg drop onto the arm. Eddie then turns to lock in a cross arm-breaker, but Angle locks his hands. Eddie picks himself up and stomps on Kurt’s shoulder. He picks up Kurt, and Kurt break out with right hands. Eddie breaks that up with an elbow to his right should, then picks him up for a shoulder breaker. Two count for Eddie. Eddie picks him up, but Kurt tries fighting out again. Angle tries throwing him to the ropes, but Eddie reverses. Eddie hits the arm-drag, but Kurt Angle powers out and pushes Eddie into the corner. Out of the back comes Chavo, who walks down to the ring. Angle whips Eddie across the ring and hits a splash, Stinger-style. Chavo runs up to the apron, talks trash with Angle, and they duke it out before Angle turns around and gets caught with a suplex. Eddie goes up for the frog splash, misses it, and Angle rolls out into the ankle lock. Eddie makes it to the ropes. Chavo rushes the ring, trades rights with Kurt before Kurt takes control and tosses him. Eddy then hits the brainbuster and him and Chavo hit back to back frog splashes for the DQ at 12:08. Uncle and nephew walk to the back together. <Commercial Break> WCW World Championship Chris Jericho vs. Steve Austin Jericho comes out with both the tag title and the WCW Championship. Jericho reverses the whip in mid-action, sending Austin to the ropes. Running clothesline attempt by Austin, which Jericho ducks then goes sprinting to the ropes. Jericho throws a leaping heel kick, which Austin ducks but Jericho miraculously lands on his feet and hits a jumping guiri kick to Austin head. Jericho goes into a pin and gets a two. Jericho bring Austin back up to his feet and works over him with some chops in the corner. He whips Austin across, but Austin stands his ground and reverses it, delivering Austin a hard clothesline.
