The One and Only Divisional Playoffs thread

and I continue to stick to my statement that McNabb is highly over-rated and if he was white he would be riding the bench. No excuse for continuously throwing passes at his recievers toes when they are open. He's too skinny and frail to be a RB and not accurate enough to be a QB.

Damn quick though.

I'd like the Eagles to lose just so I can hear a bunch of Philly fans demanding the firing of Andy Reid and the trading of McNabb for draft picks.

But if they win it all I bet the fans hail Andy Reid as a genius and declare McNabb the greatest ever.

That's the way these fickle fuckers are.

What's really sad is I'm a Pats fan and I dislike Brady with a passion. Yet I give the little weasel credit, he does what needs to be done to win games.

And Ty Law was the Super Bowl MVP, not Tom Brady. I'll stand by that forever.

Too skinny and frail to be a RB? That is just asinine, he is pushing 245 at this point. What are most RBs, 200-225 lbs.

he's pretty tall though, thus that weight is distributed more

Amen to that.

Were I to watch the game again I bet Brady wouldn't land in my top 3 for that game's MVP

*Looks at stats*

*turns head and looks where Culpepper is sitting right now*

yup, because Culpepper has just as much to do with the defense as McNabb does.

That must mean Freddie Mitchell is worlds better than Randy Moss!

gimme a break

What do stats mean? Culpepper has better running stats, because their system has him run more, especially in goal line situations.

And you try to tell me there wouldn't be a little difference in stats if McNabb had Moss to just lob the ball up to at will.

Football is not like baseball, where stats tell the story.

Well let's look at today's players

Ahman Green - 6' 217 lbs

Donovan McNabb - 6' 2" 240 lbs

So is 23 lbs. not enough for those two inches?

I'm talking about both QB's ability to pass, not run...but now that you've brought it up Culpepper tends to run around when recievers aren't open...just like McNabb and as you said he had better running stats.

Give McNabb a reciever like Moss and he still won't succeed because he's either throwing bullet passes at their toes or just plain launching them way above their heads. I haven't seen McNabb hit a reciever on the numbers yet. He's not accurate.

Look at Ahman Green's arms and legs with the muscle mass, Donovan doesn't have that on him thus he's too frail to be a RB.

I bet he would be a great WR if that's what he had been developed to be.

Did you even read the justification for the running numbers? First of all Culpepper gets more QB draws, he has to since McNabb gets about zero a year. Also, Culpepper is more willing to run. McNabb thinks pass first, Culpepper has been more inclined to be 1..2..3..take off.

Are you fucking insane?!? Throughout the whole first month of the season people were arguing he was too muscular. He wears a flak jacket all of the time, hence the reason he doesn't look good in his uniform.

Say what you will but he's very inaccurate and without those 3 RBs Philli wouldn't be here today.

I wouldn't mind seeing the Pats sign Duce in the off-season. From what I've seen of Bill B. drafts he goes for Lineman in the first round all the time(I consider the TE to be a lineman).

That pass was great, but let's hope Philly goes down now, as they're bound to choke soon.
