Here's something else I've been working on.  I suck at everything, by the way.  Here are some news stories:

The WWF’s “Forceable Entry” CD fell from #3 to #11 on the Billboard Top 200 in its second week.  In related news, the soundtrack to “The Scorpion King,” starring The Rock, has held steady at #8 for the second week.  This comes as something of a surprise, as many industry pundits predicted a sharp decline in sales for the soundtrack after fans realized that it contained nothing more than a Godsmack song and thirteen remixes of The Rock’s “Pie.”

The family of the Notorious B.I.G. has sued the city of Los Angeles, alleging that the Police Department could have done more to prevent the chart-topping rapper's 1997 murder. The civil rights and wrongful death lawsuit names the city, Police Chief Bernard Parks, former Police Chief Willie Williams and others.  P. Diddy, B.I.G.’s longtime friend and producer, responded to the suit in an interview with MTV.com Thursday.  The rap mogul intimated that if the jury were to find in favor of Los Angeles, he would book a month of studio time and purchase the rights to 67 Steely Dan songs.  An album is expected in the fall.

British pop singer Elton John, testifying before Congress yesterday (April 12), said America has an obligation to use its vast resources to stop the spread of AIDS around the world. "No nation, corporation, foundation or individual has the money you have," Sir Elton told the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee. "No one even comes close."  John’s emotional plea was then broken up by an irate Jermaine Durpi, who pistol-whipped the music icon and tossed a roll of $100 bills at his lifeless body.
