Marty jennetty the undertaker?

I was reading that Marty Jennetty was the Undertaker that was raised up into the "heavens" after the casket match. Is this true?

I know that this angle receives a lot of flak but does anyone agree that it was done pretty well for a live wwf pay per view?  There was a lot that could have gotten messed up but it looks pretty convincing.

Well I was 6(I was in Kindegarden) years old at the time when this happened and I remember watching this live and it was pretty creepy and the special effects were pretty good.

It has to have revolted you fairly heavily to beat out gems like the Gobbeldy Gooker and the Stalker. And the DDP stalker angle, as it is. Personally, I thought it was cool when I was a kid, but I'm learning that I had very low standards back then. It is also good for a laugh now.

I think ti was lame. I mean, they actually showed on Mania or somethin the forklift thing that "raised" the taker to the heavans. But come on? Undertaker no selled 10 people for like 6 minutes til a puff of green smoke came out of his urn. then he.........did nothing and layid their and gave a good promo from a OBVIOUS pre-taped interview in the casket.

At the time being a young mark I loved it.  The production quality was impressive, even though the angle was cheesy.

Thoses special effect beat the hell out of Sting and Vampiro's set the other guy of fire match where the light go dim and you can still see Sting switch places with someone before being set on fire and falling off the platform.

I watched an Old Coliseum Video the other day and it had the Rockers with an anti-smoking commercial before the tape started.  The only problem was that both guys looked like they have been awake for 4 days partying.

They were great in the ring but they were a little whacky out of the ring.Did you ever notice on the Barber Show segment when they broke up Michaels at first said everything was ok with the Rockers and then Jannetty brought up that there was friction in the Rockers and then Michaels turned on Jannetty.

Got a best of the Rockers comp recently, which has some great AWA and early WWF stuff on.  It's also got the Michaels V Jannetty match from Royal Rumble, which is really good, and is, like, only their 5th best match together.  Speaking of Jannetty, I'd always been led to believe that the guy who went up was prelim wrestler Red Tyler.  But everyone else says it was Marty...ah, who cares, it was a garbage angle anyway...

Shawn and Marty were BAD. I mean, they did some fucked up shit. Def. weed, most like crack/cocaine, and god only knows what else. They have the rep. of being fucking party animals when they first came to the WWF. I think they were both stoned when they actually went to meet with WWF officials the first time for a job. Pretty sad.

Man the Rockers were crazy and probably hung over during half their matches but they still put some pretty good matches.
