Guest Dave O'Neill, Journalist Report post Posted January 18, 2004 Hey, Bored, any chance you can help me find a picture of ex-WCW jobber Kurasawa?? I know what he's doing now, but I'm just curious to see what he looked like at the time.

Matt Young 0 Report post Posted January 19, 2004 Raw January 18, 1993 Marty Jannetty def. Glen Ruth Isn't Glen Ruth also known as Headbanger Thrasher, or is it a different guy? Also, why the hell was a World title change the opener on that Nitro, while Hogan vs. OMG was the main event? On a side note, Bored, I'd like to thank you for all your results threads. I read them every day, and I love being able to look back and remember so many matches I had long since forgotten. On another side note, before I had net access, I actually used to write detailed results of Raw, Nitro, and Thunder (didn't have UPN for Smackdown til after the brand extension) in a big ass notebook, which I still have. Bored 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Thunder January 23, 1998 The Giant def. Scott Hall by DQ Was this the match where he shook the ring until it broke after the match? Yup..."recap" by Scott Keith. Main event: Scott Hall v. The Giant. The match is crap, of course. But afterwards (I don't even know what the decision was, to be honest) the nWo runs in but Luger holds off Savage, who Nash taunts as he's being held in the Rack. Hogan and Hall take on the Giant, who beats on both of them at once. Then Nash starts slapping around the Giant, who gets pissed. I mean PISSED. He's kicking stairs around, chairs around, everything. Then, he grabs the ringpost and pushes it. And pushes it. And then the ring collapses! Holy shit! Now that's a cool ending! Nash and the nWo leave Hall flailing in the ring like a fish as we're outta here.
Bored 0 Report post Posted January 20, 2004 Also, why the hell was a World title change the opener on that Nitro, while Hogan vs. OMG was the main event? Vader made his WWF debut opening Raw that night so that's probably a good guess as to why WCW had the World Title match open up Nitro to keep WCW fans from flipping over to see Vader. Guest Your Olympic Hero Report post Posted January 20, 2004 That ME's a bit of a let down following 2 title changes and Pillman/Malenko... Yeah but Hogan NOT in the main event of any show in mid-90s WCW was like hell freezing over.
