Credit to the Observer and NWA-FL's Joe Price for this info:

On January 28th, Former NWA World Jr. Heavyweight & FL Junior Heavyweight Champion Lex Lovett will be making his debut appearance on NWA TNA Explosion, Lex was also recently seen on Raw in the role of a security guard and worked in World Japan Wrestling as Lex Meyer.

Lex is an incredible talent that has had great success recently in NWA Florida, and a recent tour of China with NWA Mid Atlantic. Lex is a former IPW World Champion, the former Junior Heavweight has shed that persona and is jacked and on track to capturing some heavyweight singles gold!

Also NWA FL Referee Billy Dalton will be reffing a match at TNA Explosion Shortly, to be followed by NWA FL's Richie Rich!

Expect more and more NWA Florida talent to be visiting TNA in the next few weeks...TNA knows where to go in the Sunshine State when they are looking for "talent" The Premiere Wrestling Promotion in the state... NWA Florida.

Um, millions of indy jobbers play security roles on WWE TV - it means nothing.

It baffles me that TNA can give untalented spotmonkeys spots on their programming - and ignore actual talent like Homicide and Samoa Joe.

That might be due to the general lack of heavyweights these days in the business, and my dislike of cruisers in general, but, whatever

Good for Lex, i saw some of his work from last summer and he was good, he can only be better now after the time in japan

Hey, I wasn't saying I thought it was a bad move or anything - I know NWA -FL has a better rep than most indies, it just bothers me that they seem to pick up the same interchangeable spotmonkeys, and never decent heavies.

Of course, Barber's idea of a heavyweight is Vic Grimes, so what do I know??

Why must every post of yours contain a shot at somebody?

Crusier does not equal spot monkey.

I guess he just dosent like crusier. Lex isnt a spotmonkey you can trust me. He is very chrismatic. Thats why Joe and Homicide arent there. They have no chrisma. That is needed when you are a nationally promotion.

From what little I've seen- both Joe and most def 'Cide seem to give off plenty of charisma.

Both Joe and Cide has the it factor, Joe and Cide work a very stiff style and tend to work longer matches, i dont think they would fit into the 5 or 4 min matches TNA gives most of his workers

I think the same thing goes for CM Punk, His IWA and ROH work rules but i cant say if i only saw his TNA work that i would think he was anything great

Because I tend to disagree with a lot of popular opinion, be it from supporting Randy Orton's push, to believing that the day someone the size of Barber's precious AL Luke is successful in a major promotion is the day I stop watching US Wrestling. Because my opinion in these matters is shouted down, i tend to try a different approach

Crusier does not equal spot monkey.

Nope, it doesn't, but I never said that.

Your'e sort of right. It's not that I don't like them - I don't see the point of them.

Case In Point 1- Mike Awesome, who could go from the top, does some springboard shit - and didn't see the need to attempt to break his neck in the process, like so many twits I've been exposed to (like Teddy Hart)

Cast In Point 2 - Chris Benoit, Shinjiro Ohtani and Jushin Liger - all of whom had ***** Matches as cruisers, went away, packed on muscle mass and, ten years later, were still having ***** (maybe not Liger) matches, thus negating the point of them being short arses in the first place.

To anyone who thinks cruiserweight wrestling has a future - your'e dreaming. The WWE is thankfully the only game in town, and it's going no-where. Therefore - no cruisers in spots they don't deserve.

Few things- while Teddy's an ass- I don't think anybody has disputed that he's a pretty good wrestler. His psychology is suspect (at least based on what I saw in the X Cup) but he's got loads of talent.

Equating the WWE with the future or sucess of cruiserweight wrestling. Even if the WWE is the only national promotion, there will always be regional shows and small promotions, and because there's more people in the world at 5'10" 180 than there is at 6'5" 300, there will always be crusiers.

That's my polite response... my impolite one is that you seem to love the attention you get for taking contrary postions, and that you're a troll, and an idiot.
