Guest BobBacklundRules Report post Posted January 18, 2004 First of all I want to say it was an incredible show, Midwest Pro Wrestling has the best talent in Minnesota and you should definitely check out their major shows. Before the show the Daniels was selling Curry Man and Fallen Angel t-shirts as well as 8x10 autographs. AJ came out during the break and signed Polaroids for $5, but didn't have any merch. Both men were very generous with the fans and were more than happy to chat, although AJ seemed a little out of it. Daniels said there was a special deal on his t-shirts, if you buy one, AJ will shake his fist at you. Styles made good on the deal before his match. Each man wrestled single matches against MPW regulars. AJ wrestled Shifty while Daniels did battle with Arik Cannon, who some of you might know. AJ's match was less than average, but I'll give credit because his opponent isn't a good worker and he had to follow the Daniels match which was simply off the charts. I have not seen a better match live, with Daniels getting the upper hand, the local battling back, and eventually losing to the Last Rites. GREAT chain wrestling by both men. After the match Daniels put over the competition and MPW. He even said, "If this was ROH I would just walk out of here, but because it's MPW I'm going to SHAKE YOUR HAND" AND HE DID! It was a real treat to watch these two men perform. And a good time was had by all.

At first they were scheduled to "appear", but the previous week or two before hand the matches were booked.
