Guest El Satanico Posted April 13, 2002 Report Posted April 13, 2002 http://us.imdb.com/Title?0264616 I'm really interested in this movie from what i've seen in the previews and from what i read about the plot months ago. It came out this weekend and i'm wondering if anyone seen it yet. I really hope it's a good movie it looks very promising. I'm really hoping somebody saw it because it looks to be the best movie coming out this week. Changing Lanes looks boring as all hell and i like Samuel L Jackson.
Guest cobainwasmurdered Posted April 13, 2002 Report Posted April 13, 2002 I haven't seen it but I'm going tuesday night with friends. Changing Lanes does look bring but the critics seem to love it.
Guest Posted April 14, 2002 Report Posted April 14, 2002 I saw Frailty tonight. It was quite good. Bill Paxton could have a good career ahead of him as a director. He was also good as the god hearing, demon slaying father. It also has a unconventional ending, which is nice for a change. Recommended.
Guest Posted April 15, 2002 Report Posted April 15, 2002 For the longest while I thought Fraility was by Stephen King because in the tv spots it would go "the masters of suspense agree, Stephen King..." etc. etc.
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 Lol, I thought it was by Stevn King too Tony. Anyway, I saw it, and it was reall good. However, being a Christian, I really didn't like the "unconventional" ending that one guy mentioned. It really freaked me out that...well, you'll see.
Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 I'm going to see it today...and If I don't like it I will hold all of you responsible... ...or just come back to this thread and bitch...
Guest El Satanico Posted April 24, 2002 Report Posted April 24, 2002 I finally saw Frailty yesterday. I found it to be a very enjoyable film with good performances by everyone involved. It's not as much of a horror movie as i was expecting but that didn't take away from the movie at all. I knew something like what happened at the end was going to happen but i still enjoyed watching the ending. But i didn't expect the FBI agent stuff at the end so that was a nice little surprise. I liked how the movie made you not agree with what the family was doing but then showed you differently at the end. Overall Frailty is a quality suspense movie

However i'm wondering what about the end bothered you as a "Christian"? Well, explain it as good as you can without giving spoilers.
Guest Posted May 1, 2002 Report Posted May 1, 2002 I saw Frailty twice and so far, it is the best movie of the year. And I also really liked Changing Lanes. I didn't really see the ending coming until it was right up on me, so it was really fun to see. Paxton is the man, too bad the movie isn't going to make much money.
