Guest Ravenbomb Report post Posted April 13, 2002 Anyone seen this movie? If so, would you recomend it? What about the sequil?
Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted April 13, 2002 I would highly recommend both movies. I saw each on HBO and they are among the best documenteries I've ever seen. Everytime one side presents evidence I think either not guilty or guilty only to think differently a short time later when the other side has a chance to do the same. Also the father of one of the slain boys is a disturbing figure, he makes for some great entertainment though as he preaches the bible and some evidence points to him. Guest El Satanico Report post Posted April 13, 2002 Ok after readng that last post i decided to edit what i said. Yes it was a pretty good movies and you probably wouldn't go wrong with it. I had no idea that there was a sequel. I can't stand the fanatical father who always preaching. I don't know if those kids were innocent or not but i don't see how they had enough evidence to convict.
Guest DragonflyKid Report post Posted April 13, 2002 Yes, there was a sequel, it was an update on the court trials, the appeals process and the victims families.
Guest CoreyLazarus416 Report post Posted April 14, 2002 Plus, Metallica did the entire soundtrack, with the "newest" songs used being off of Metallica... Great, great documentaries. I don't think they did the crime at all. I seriously think the fanatical step-father did it. He overacts in every interview he's in, and seems to make things up as he goes along. Plus, his history involving violence towards kids (one of his teenaged friends was in a fight with somebody, and he stood there with a rifle to make sure nobody broke it up), and he seems like the drunk Southern Baptist type. I think the 3 were just convicted because they wore black constantly, really.
