Guest Salacious Crumb Report post Posted January 22, 2004 Favre dropped out of the Pro Bowl due to a broken thumb and will be replaced by Matt Hasselbeck. Well at least Hasselbeck got in after all but McNabb still has no reason to be in after a fairly average season and a horrible Championship game. Payton also decided to not go to the Raiders so their back in the market for a coach.
Damaramu 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2004 Hmm........Hasselback? What about Dellhomme? Oh and McNabb should probably heal up.....I mean can he even play? Or is he to hurt?
KingPK 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2004 Just heard on the radio that McNabb dropped out as well. He's going to be replaced by Marc Bulger. The Pro Bowl is all about stats, and not victories or championships (which is why there's no Delhomme or Brady)

Kahran Ramsus 0 Report post Posted January 22, 2004 (edited) Favre never plays. Nobody cares about the game, they just want to make the team. Hasselbeck should have been on over McNabb anyways (like it or not Favre led the league in TD passes and deserved to be there). As for Bulger being selected, what, did Jesse Palmer and Quincy Carter turn them down? Better check on Hasselbeck too, seeing as how highly thought of this game is, it is probably Tim. Mole 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 Just heard on the radio that McNabb dropped out as well. He's going to be replaced by Marc Bulger. The Pro Bowl is all about stats, and not victories or championships (which is why there's no Delhomme or Brady) It isn't just about stats, it is about wins and what that player does for their team. Brady was a MAJOR factor for the Pats winning 14 games straight during the postseason. Brady didn't have one dominate WR, so he used everyone. Brady didn't have a dominate RB who got 1,000 yards. Bah, I am just biased because I am a Pats fan. It really doesn't matter about the Pro Bowl because Brady can just show Green, Manning and McNair the 2nd SB ring he has. Vern Gagne 0 Report post Posted January 23, 2004 Don't even play the Pro-Bowl. Just announce a team, give them a trip to Hawaii and whatever bonuses they receive.
