Problems with no mercy

i bet this has been covered but i have to ask.

 

my copy of no mercy keeps resetting itself, is there anything i can do about this, or should i just give up and swear at it until i get bored and go listen to a nirvana cd?

Your not the only one.

Someone told me that it happens after u start a championship mode game without completeing it. ie playing afew matches saving and turning off

i emailed thq about it and they told me that i could send it away and wait a couple of months or something to get a non faulty replacement.

Like you i continue to listen to my copy of nevermind while my piece of shit no mercy gathers dust i suggest u do the same.

Okay, I'm sorry to tell you this, but there is NO WAY to get No Mercy to stop erasing.  Trust me, I know.  I had to bring it back 6 times before I got a copy without the glitch.  I recommend you just send it back to THQ and have them replace it.  It would probably take a month or so, but it's worth it as it takes away all the headaches of loudly swearing at your Nintendo.

It's just a bug that went out with about 50% of the cartridges that shipped.  I remember that the copy of No Mercy that I rented from Blockbuster on the day that it came out erased data, but the version that I bought a month later didn't.

 

I remember they said it might have had something to do with using memory cards, though that's a pretty horrendous cop-out excuse.

 

I'd just say grab WM2K...or yeah, listen to a Nirvana CD.

Yeah, this happened a lot when the game first came out, but after a couple of months a new glitch-free batch was delivered to our local game shop and everyone just exchanged their cartridges.

The only problem was/is, the glitch-free version doesn't have blood on it.
