Kahran Ramsus Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 A movie will suck balls if the characters are not wirtten well, and the characters in the Matrix sequels(The first one was great) were simple, lacked any depth, and just were plain blah. The storyline was complex, but the characters couldn't support it, so...blah. The first one was just as bad. I'm still amazed that McG didn't get nominated for worst director.
Guest TonyJaymzV1 Posted January 29, 2004 Report Posted January 29, 2004 eh, I have a soft spot for the 1st, mainly due to the Morpheus/Agent Smith scene.
LivingLegendGaryColeman Posted January 30, 2004 Report Posted January 30, 2004 I don't like lump nominees either. Especially with Cuba Gooding. I didn't really have a problem with his acting in Boat Trip, but with what the movie's content was, I'm not surprised. Haven't seen Fighting Temptations, but from what I've heard... okay... especially from a former Oscar winner on those. I do not think he should have been nominated for Radio. I thought he was really good in that, maybe it's just my opinion. I do feel that they maybe just lumped him in for Radio just thinking "HA! He played a retard!". Ashton hate is plentiful, however, he wasn't in Cheaper by the Dozen all that much.
Mole Posted January 30, 2004 Author Report Posted January 30, 2004 Wasn't he only in it for like 10 mins?
Guest The Midnight Rocking Warrior Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Bana was nothing special, but he was a better superhero than Afleck
