Guest dreamer420 Posted April 14, 2002 Report Posted April 14, 2002 I am looking for any wwf house show results from victoria, bc, during the late eighties or early nineties. Anyone who may have any info on what the cards might have please post. Thanks.
Guest HartFan86 Posted April 14, 2002 Report Posted April 14, 2002 One of my best online friends, Graham Cawthon did this: http://www.wrestleview.com/info/moreinfo
Guest Drury37 Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Oh that thing was pretty cool. Thanks.
Guest nWoScorpion Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 That is ALOT of info. OH MY GOD! Koko B. Ware won a match!!!!!
Guest Drury37 Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Yeah Koko B. Ware won a match!!!I found out from that thing that the April 1987 episode of WWF Saturday Night's Main Event happened at the Joyce Center which is on the campus of the University of Notre Dame!!!Does anyone have a copy of that? Thanks.
Guest nWoScorpion Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Go to the Tape Trading post room and someone will most likely have it. Posting tape requests their are easier then here, cause this is a general WWF room.
Guest Drury37 Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 That's true,I might do that. Thanks.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 That site is wicked. Too much info for my mind to go through though.
Guest Drury37 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 You really need to just scim through the stuff and find if something really interests you. Thanks.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 That's what I tried to do. Unfortunatly the two cards that I was looking for info on were there. The site still rules though, and it shows how crappy a lot of house shows were back in the day.
Guest Drury37 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Yeah, imagine going to one of those TV taping shows, those things had tons and tons of matches on them. Thanks.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 They must have been hours and hours of boring matches. How did they keep the crowds alive for these marathon shows back then?
Guest Drury37 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I have no clue,I guess they had good matches every once in a while that kept the crowd going. Thanks.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 How many times can you see Barry Horowitz pinned before saying fuck this and leaving?
Guest Drury37 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Apparently a lot,I mean atleast most matches had a good super star so if he started taunting and stuff it probably got people into it. Thanks.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 That is probably why the tapings took place at lesser known Cities and Venues because they know the fans will probaly stay hot just because they are thirsty to see wwf stars
Guest Drury37 Posted April 19, 2002 Report Posted April 19, 2002 That's true,I mean you never saw a WWF TV Taping like that at Madison Square Garden because they had good wrestling there every month. Thanks.
Guest nWoScorpion Posted April 19, 2002 Report Posted April 19, 2002 I tried running through the whole 1991-1994 sections but my mind just halterd after August 1992.
Guest Drury37 Posted April 19, 2002 Report Posted April 19, 2002 HAHA!!!I guess it's just too much information to retain after a while.I just started scimming through it after a while. Thanks.
