Guest Shaved Bear Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 dont say anything else because these are really the only ones open to everyone across the country
Guest theWCWRaider Posted February 9, 2002 Report Posted February 9, 2002 Had to go with Subway, even though I used to work at McDonalds...I think I can get a decent meal at subway, and it won't cost me an arm and a leg.
Guest Kinetic Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 Taco Bell is a national chain, too. Just saying. I'd have to go with Subway. It's much less vomit-inducing than any other fast food restaurant and they make the sandwiches in front of you, so there's no funny business going on. Plus, they've got Jared, Clay Henry, and that semi-attractive girl with legs like a grand piano in their commercials. You can't beat that sort of value.
Guest jimmy no nose Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 I think Wendy's has the best overall selection and value compared to the other ones. I have promised myself that I will never again eat at Subway after all of those stupid commercials. And they're always on too. I don't care how fat Clay Henry was. I'm sure he didn't lose weight just because he eats at Subway. The guy in the before picture doesn't even look like him. It's all a scam I tell you!!
Guest Kinetic Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 Jared wouldn't do that! You shut your mouth!
Guest areacode212 Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 I'll go with Wendy's because they have the most interesting kinds of burgers out of all the burger places. I have never been to Subways, even though there are at least 2 of them near my house. What Subway sandwiches do you guys recommend be my first one?
Guest Calistoga Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 I actually kind of like Togo's better than Subway. They certainly seem to have a wider variety of sandwiches. For hot food, I'd go with Taco Bell.
Guest Shaved Bear Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 my reasoning for not including the bell is simple...my friend once went there and he felt queasy he goes to the doctor, and guess what, a roach egg was infested in his stomach
Guest Kinetic Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 That could happen anywhere. I raised a family of roaches at McDonald's, in fact. I named them and built them a little shack under the prep table.
Guest MarvinisaLunatic Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 my reasoning for not including the bell is simple...my friend once went there and he felt queasy he goes to the doctor, and guess what, a roach egg was infested in his stomach Thats one of those Urban Legends. Its probably not true. If it was true, not only would the Taco Bell be closed down, but it would have also made the national news. Plus, roach eggs cant exist in a person's stomach because of the acids that are present in your stomach, unless the person took a boatload of antacids. The acids in your stomach will kill just about any living organisms except for bacteria/virus and certain worms such as trichinosis (comes from undercooked pork) This is all sorts of stuff that I learned in Santitation class, and I am certified in Sanitation so I know this stuff.

Guest Army Eye Posted February 10, 2002 Report Posted February 10, 2002 Burger King getting no love? Come on, they are the best. I like the burgers more than McDonals, their Chicken Tenders are really good, and most of all their fries are far superior
Guest FakeRazor Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 HELL YES, Army Eye! I'm looking at this thread and noticing NO ONE likes BK. It's my favorite fast food restaraunt. Their fries are easily better then any of the other fast food chains, and their chicken actually tastes like Chicken (unlike McDonalds). The Burgers are better too. AND they have Frozen Cokes.
Guest teke184 Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 Burger King sucks. Their restauraunts are usually in worse locations than a McDonalds or Wendy's, their food quality is lower except on certain sandwiches (I like that breaded Chicken Sandwich from there, but don't like much else they serve), they have very slow service, and they hire the dumbest f*cking people they can find. Across the board, the worst employees that I ever come across in the fast food industry work at Burger King, with the best tending to work at McDonalds. The quality of employees working at Wendy's varies depending upon which one you go to (There are designated locations that train ALL new employees, which means that they will always be the worst location to go. The only way to get decent service there is if you have a simple order like "Single cheese combo with everything on it, and a coke".)
Guest Shaved Bear Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 as for the stupidity of the workers, as a rule of thumb, i NEVER special order anything, because it takes too long and messes everything up
Guest teke184 Posted February 11, 2002 Report Posted February 11, 2002 I NEVER order special orders at McDonalds or Burger King. I'll do special orders that can be considered easy at Wendy's, Subway, Blimpie, etc. (Usually, I just want a cheese, mayo, and mustard on my burger or sub and I'm done.)

Haha.. well , I'll always love BK because I just like their food, but I can't deny that the quality of employees at BK can be pretty pathetic. This could probably be a whole other thread, just the incompetency of fast food employees. I've have several employee-related catastrophes at various Burger Kings, obviously they like to botch your order if it's in any way different, but there was also one even worse where I stopped at a Burger King real late at night, probably 1:30-2:00am, and there was apparently only one person working there and she appeared to be retarded, or at least pretty "slow". Anyway, at one point I guess she got confused with some order to the point that she couldn't make any progress, because the line didn't move at all for at least half an hour. The drive-through line became long enough to be totally wrapped around the Burger King, everybody was honking their horns and yelling shit.. it was a very ugly scene. I'd still like to know what the hell was it that took so long
Guest O.J. Hart Posted February 15, 2002 Report Posted February 15, 2002 I like subway the best. I don't care if Jared never lost any weight, I'd still go there. I always get a foot long with regular bread, and it has roast beef cheese lettuce and italian dressing. I also like Wendy's, dave thomas was "f-wording" awesome. Spicy Chicken Sandwich all the way!!!!!
Guest The Electrifyer Posted February 17, 2002 Report Posted February 17, 2002 I must go with Subway. You can get burgers everywhere, but subs, thse are unique to Subway.
Guest hardyz1 Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 I love Sonic. Too bad there aren't any up north here. My vote goes to Taco Bell. The chicken quesadilla rocks! And those grilled stuffed burritos are BEASTS.
Guest kkktookmybabyaway Posted February 21, 2002 Report Posted February 21, 2002 "my reasoning for not including the bell is simple...my friend once went there and he felt queasy he goes to the doctor, and guess what, a roach egg was infested in his stomach" Well I had this friend that brought a hot chick from a local bar home for some late night fun, and he woke up in the morning in his bathtub covered in ice and missing some kidneys... Actually, I like a little bit of each of the four entries. It depends on what mood I'm in and what I'm hungry for, whether it be a 99-cent Jr. Bacon Cheesburger or Double Quarter Pounder w/ Cheese. Instead of voting for a single franchise, I'm voting in regards to location. As long as the store is safely outside the dirt and grime of a city (every FF place I've gone to that was in a decent-sized town has been an experience I'd rather forget), I'm happy with wherever I go... Army Eye, just a warning. If you're complaining about the wait and/or service of a late-night fast-food place just leave. If you bitch and moan, chances are stuff WILL happen to your food. Trust me on this one. Not saying it's right or that you don't have a reason to be pissed off because a CSR gets spooked at the sight of 2 cars in the drive-through at 11:59 p.m.. It's just a fact of life.
Guest DebilitatorX Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 1. Sonic 2. Checker's 3. Wendy's 4. McDonald's 5. Taco Bell 6. Burger King And since I ain't from the projects, I'm not ranking KFC.
Guest Your God Posted February 22, 2002 Report Posted February 22, 2002 KFC rocks. Mmmm I could go for their yummy, spicy chicken strips right now and their creamy, cheesy mac and cheese. Their biscuits are good too. Burger King is my fave of the big three. I love their chicken tenders and their fries have spoiled me. I can no longer eat McDonald's! Wendy's have given me wrong orders and burned fries, so I'm boycotting them for the time being.
Guest Kaoz Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 mcdonalds have the best fries ever!!! their burgers are truly shit though!

Even that night with the 30+ minute delay I didn't whine to the employee or anything. It's risky enough eating at these places without pissing off the miserable workers too
Guest DokDoyle Posted February 24, 2002 Report Posted February 24, 2002 Subway breakfast: 2 bacon and egg deli's with bullseye bbq sauce Subway lunch: Subway melt with Bullseye bbq sauce on parmason ogreno bread
