So vote for me or die. -- Hit-The-Floor-And-You're-Gone Battle Royal Cutthroat vs. Tod deKindes vs. Vanguard vs. Jack The Ripper vs. Frost TV Title Match T-Bone © vs. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Z Singles Match Insane Luchador vs. Shawn Brody First Pin Wins Non Title Match Tom Flesher vs. "Deathwish" Danny Williams Singles Match Stryke vs. Mafia MAIN EVENT World Title Match Erek Taylor © vs. Xero
Guest midnight_burn Report post Posted April 14, 2002 Hit-The-Floor-And-You're-Gone Battle Royal Cutthroat vs. Tod deKindes vs. Vanguard vs. Jack The Ripper vs. Frost - Battle Royals haven't been seen for a while in the JL, so it's nice to see one back. 5 good writers, some rather new, others having been in the JL for god knows how long. It's anybody's game, but i'll take Frost to sneak out the win. TV Title Match T-Bone © vs. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson - TNT's been going good, and T-Bone has been very strong since returning, gaining TV gold. Should be a very nice match, but by hook or by crook i think T-Bone will hold off yet another challenger. Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn - They fought in a Find the Breifcase match, Poisyn gaining $5 for his troubles. Randy Turner's going pretty well, and has to be considered a big chance. The artist formerly known as Matt Myers is quite good though, and will no doubt be past any rust, so i think Poisyn can get another win here. A Turner win wouldn't surprise though. Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Z - Ced v Z, two very good writers, and that should make for a very good match. Very hard to pick, but i'll go with Z by a nose. Singles Match Insane Luchador vs. Shawn Brody - IL isn't back to his best yet, and Brody has been going along very well, so if they stick to form Brody should probably get the win. However, if IL gets back into the groove and delivers his usual top quality work he can definately win here. Should be a tight one either way, but i'll have to go with IL to win. Non Title Match Tom Flesher vs. "Deathwish" Danny Williams - Two of the more impressive newcomers to arrive in the JL in a long time, both men are putting on very good matches all the time. It'll be a match i'll be looking forward to reading, and it should be very very very close, but i think Deathwish will just gain the victory here. Singles Match Stryke vs. Mafia - Mafia beat me once before in a 4-way early in both our JL careers, we've won a tag match together over Ash and LDP and been in the stable 'Havoc' together. Now we have a singles match, and a darn tough one for me to win. I'll have to produce my best to top Mafia here and get to 1-1 against him. MAIN EVENT World Title Match Erek Taylor © vs. Xero - Erek just pipped me in the Ladder match, can he gain another win over Xero? Should be a very good contest, and something tells me that Xero may just do it. Erek would have to be favoured, and his form is red hot, but Xero will no doubt be very determined to get the win. My prediction: Not really sure, could go either way.
Guest DiabloIIFreak1010 Report post Posted April 14, 2002 Blargh @ No-showing Crimson. I don't think it'll happen again soon... And Johnny...your ass is mine...whoever you are... Hit-The-Floor-And-You're-Gone Battle Royal Cutthroat vs. Tod deKindes vs. Vanguard vs. Jack The Ripper vs. Frost - Ah...the traditional battle royals. Well, we all know that Cutthroat is the ultimate jobber, so we all just KNOW he's going to loose...deKindes, Vanguard, and Frost are also quite impressive, and Jack is the wild-card here in this one. I'll go out on a limb and say Vanguard. Winner: Vanguard TV Title Match T-Bone © vs. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson - "T"-Bone..."T" N "T"...They both have T's in there name...but T-Bone has the "T"V title...I woud say that TNT gains another "T", and becomes the TV Champion...Go T's! Winner: TNT Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn - Remember, Randy. Quoting the words of a good friend of mine, Payne, "The winner of the match will be the one who wants it more." No perdiction... Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Z - Well, Ced no-showed along with me, so I'm going to have to go with Z on this one. Winner: Z Singles Match Insane Luchador vs. Shawn Brody - IL's going to delvier a top-quality ass kicking to Shawn. But if Shawn pulls off an upset, I wouldn't be supprised at all! I'll go with IL, for one reason only... Winner: Insane Luchador...DESTRUCTION PRIDE! Non Title Match Tom Flesher vs. "Deathwish" Danny Williams - Two of the impressive JLers go head to head...and I really don't have a fucking clue, they're both damn good. Singles Match Stryke vs. Mafia - Stryke needs to get his groove back in, and I think that he will get his groove back by picking up a win over his former tag-team partner and former 'Havock' stale-mate Mafia. Winner: Stryke MAIN EVENT World Title Match Erek Taylor © vs. Xero - Erek has came out of a huge win after the World Title match (WHICH...I helped him on. He wanted more ideas, so I shot a few at him...), but I would call Xero the Hulk Hogan of the JL, I think he's been her longer than anybody. Like Stryke, this match can go either way. But the winner will be the one who wants it more.
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted April 14, 2002 Hit-The-Floor-And-You're-Gone Battle Royal Cutthroat vs. Tod deKindes vs. Vanguard vs. Jack The Ripper vs. Frost Well Cutthroat is well, gonna be eliminated first. Actually he reminds of me back in the ol days when I couldn't write a damn good match. Well I liked Vanguard match, and I think he will win. TV Title Match T-Bone © vs. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson T-Bone should move up higher in the rankings, and I think he should drop the belt to TNT. But T-Bone will hold on the belt as long as he can. Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn Turner would really want to kick Poisyn's ass again, but I think some leathal injection of Poisyn will win. Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Zed Zed to win. Singles Match Insane Luchador vs. Shawn Brody My man, IL is up against Shawn Brody. IL to win, but if Brody wins, he is on his way for that Euro belt. First Pin Wins Non Title Match Tom Flesher vs. "Deathwish" Danny Williams Tom Flesher is on a tear, and he will will for sure. Singles Match Stryke vs. Mafia Stryke, whats wrong? I mean you could have won that match, and made my life a bit easier, so I could kick your ass instead . Well I predict Stryke to win. MAIN EVENT World Title Match Erek Taylor © vs. Xero Well rumors burst out that Taylor will job the title to me, so if thats the case. Me I am an egotistical bastard, aren't I? Guest Insanityman Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Hit-The-Floor-And-You're-Gone Battle Royal Cutthroat vs. Tod deKindes vs. Vanguard vs. Jack The Ripper vs. Frost Tod, the German. TV Title Match T-Bone © vs. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson TNT will be your new champion, maybe... Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn Flip a coin, and you have my answer. Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Mike Van Siclen Well, MVS is no-showing -I think- so it's safe to say Ced. Singles Match Insane Luchador vs. Shawn Brody Apparently writing anything over 2000 words with more than four paragraphs is now forbidden for me... so Brody. First Pin Wins Non Title Match Tom Flesher vs. "Deathwish" Danny Williams vs. Z Tom... no Z, no Danny... not sure. Singles Match Stryke vs. Mafia Stryke, barely... MAIN EVENT World Title Match Erek Taylor © vs. Xero Flip the same coin from earlier.

Guest realitycheck Report post Posted April 15, 2002 I dunno' what I've got, but whatever it is, it makes me really tired. My being up on the boards at 1:41am explained, I proudly present the "I've slept 17 hours and I'm still freaking tired" JL SCUM predictions. Ready? CRIMSON BATTING AVERAGE: 0.777 Hit-The-Floor-And-You're-Gone Battle Royal Cutthroat vs. Tod deKindes vs. Vanguard vs. Jack The Ripper vs. Frost You know, I'd like to know exactly how long Ted Flink went without a win, just to see if Cutthroat can match his dubious record. That said, I'll begin my cheerleading for Cutthroat to go 12 straight without a win. GO CUTTHROAT! GO CUTTHROAT! Uh... I'm supposed to predict someone to WIN? Well deKindes and Ripper are comming off tough losses, whilst Frost picked up a win. Personally, I say a certian brooding superhero with his INCREDIBUL ANGST POWERZ~! takes the victory. WINNER:Vanguard TV Title Match T-Bone © vs. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson TNT is yet to be defeated, and he's going up against T-Bone, who has pretty much been the hottest writer here since winning the TV Title. TNT will doubtless come close, but I say T-Bone retains, and takes a strong run at longest reigning TV champ ever. More cheerleading for me to do... WINNER:T-Bone Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn Rematch... HO! Randy wasn't the one Poisyn was looking for in the first match, and I doubt he's the type to flip-flop his opnion. The find the breifcase match was very good, but I think Randy's talent lies within regular matches. I'll go with the upset. WINNER:Randy Turner Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Z Whee, more Z! Now, how this match goes all depends on whether or not Ced gets back to me on something. If he does, there may be some hilarious Z and Ced connection antics. If he dosen't, well, I'm felling generous. Antics just the same! NO PREDICTION Singles Match Insane Luchador vs. Shawn Brody Did you know: Brody is riding a four match losing streak? I think a match against the wily vetran (am I allowed to call IL that?) should fire him up... of course, this is if he hasn't fallen off the edge of the earth. So, if he returns from oblivion... WINNER:Shawn Brody First Pin Wins Non Title Match Tom Flesher vs. "Deathwish" Danny Williams Technically, this match has only happened once. Tom and Danny faced each other again, but I was involved in that one. Allthough Tom has skyrocketed up the JL ladder, Williams stunned... well... everyone with a win against IL. I say the momentum carries, and he gives Flesher his first singles loss. Besides, doesn't the champion ALWAYS lose when the title isn't on the line? WINNER:Danny Williams Singles Match Stryke vs. Mafia Whoah! A Stryke match *without* Ash Ketchum!? What is this world coming to? Anyway, Stryke is no-doubt flustered that he didn't take the World Title from Erek, which should add some fuel to the fire. Although, Mafia is coming off back-to-back wins... WINNER:Mafia (Stryke's match) MAIN EVENT World Title Match Erek Taylor © vs. Xero Hmmn, decisions, decisions... Erek's been En Fuego since winning the world title, and is obviously blazing a trail to the WF. Xero has been here forever, and is no doubt very, VERY hungry for a World Title win. With Crusen's annoucement that there MAY be a JL PPV, along with the fact that several bump spots are up for grabs, may just inspire the Ol' Geezer to write that *little* bit harder. With this almost impossible to decide by any un-biased means, I leave it up to the only impartial ref... ::flips coin::: AND THE WINNER IS: ... ... ... ...XERO (Cue suspenceful music) -Z
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted April 15, 2002 GAH! When Z predicts me to lose, I know I'm really gonna have to wear my workboots... er... work... keyboard... yeah.... anyways.... Hit-The-Floor-And-You're-Gone Battle Royal Cutthroat vs. Tod deKindes vs. Vanguard vs. Jack The Ripper vs. Frost - I'll go with Tod. TV Title Match T-Bone © vs. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson - Hm... Thompson's been impressive lately, and I just had steak last night, so I'm not interested in T-Bone. TNT is is. Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn - Randy Turner has an amateur gimmick. Poisyn has a spelling idiosyncracy in his name. Queen Elizabeth (only coin I have handy is a loony, for no apparent reason) says Randy Turner. Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Z - Can Z's lucky streak continue? Well, one would hope. Ced's out of his element in a street fight, so let's go with Z. Singles Match Insane Luchador vs. Shawn Brody - Shawn no-showed, and IL's been impressive as of late... IL it is. Non Title Match Tom Flesher vs. "Deathwish" Danny Williams No prediction. Singles Match Stryke vs. Mafia - Stryke! MAIN EVENT World Title Match Erek Taylor © vs. Xero - I think Erek's been great lately, so I'll go with him.
Guest Insane Clown Dan Report post Posted April 15, 2002 WOOT! Awesome Metal card. I wish I could be in it =( -- Hit-The-Floor-And-You're-Gone Battle Royal Cutthroat vs. Tod deKindes vs. Vanguard vs. Jack The Ripper vs. Frost -Heh. Looks like we got quite the mini-Clusterfuck here. I'd say... uh... Frost (if he writes). Otherwise, Vanguard takes it. TV Title Match T-Bone © vs. "TNT" Taylor Nicholas Thompson -T-Bone Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn -As #1 Matt Myers Mark of Magnificent Markdom(hahaha... beat that alliteration, sucka!), Poisyn will knock this poor tool flat on his skinny ass But fo' real, both guys can take the win if they write. J/K, Randy. Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Z -Ced Singles Match Insane Luchador vs. Shawn Brody -Shawn Brody... sorry IL, but you do have ring rust. But please, prove me wrong... First Pin Wins Non Title Match Tom Flesher vs. "Deathwish" Danny Williams -Tom wins, but it'll be close as || Singles Match Stryke vs. Mafia -Mafia picks up the upset. Singles Match Randy Turner vs. Poisyn -Every rose has it's thorn... Street Fight Ced Ordonez vs. Z -Z, with his wackiness.
