If Wallace doesn't win D player of the year there is something wrong with the voters.

Well, the Defensive Player and Sixth Man awards have already been decided - Ben Wallace was the Defensive Player of the Year and Corliss Williamson was Sixth Man of the Year.

MVP: Jason Kidd, New Jersey

Rookie of the Year: Pau Gasol, Vancouver...errrr Memphis

Coach of the Year: Byron Scott, New Jersey

Most Improved: can't think of one...Wallace and Jermaine O'Neal seem like the popular picks but both were pretty good last year.  Not sure.

Perhaps they were just underrated. I really would have trouble believing that Ben Wallace could have the type of game that he had on Sunday night before I saw it happen and before this season started. I also would have had a hard time picturing Jermaine O'Neal scoring 30 points in a game too.
