Guest JMA Posted February 1, 2004 Report Posted February 1, 2004 Also... Osamu Tezuka Oddly enough, the "God of Manga" was inspired by early Disney animation.
Guest TheZsaszHorsemen Posted February 2, 2004 Report Posted February 2, 2004 Wasn't the story just a retelling of Hamlet ANYWAY? See, it all comes back to Shakespeare.
Guest Razor Roman Posted February 4, 2004 Report Posted February 4, 2004 Oh....remember Jungle 2 Jungle? There was a french movie called "Little Indian, Big City". I can't figure out which one came first....but they are pretty much the same movie with almost the exact same scenes. The french movie came first. I knew it. French Movies get remaid into American movies all the time... 3 Men and a Baby Pure Luck and Jungle 2 Jungle were all movies I saw in french class in 7th grade. They're usually made with the original writer's permission though.

Yeah, he was inspired some by Disney. Obviously, I'm a fan of his. Just watched the Japanese starting of Kimba thanks to the link posted by Maxx Danger -- I could really get into that show. I heard NBC? gave Tezuka a real hard time when he made that show.
