Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Steven Richards, Test, you lose. Steven Richards doesn't get reactions? AHAHAHA! Test gets X-Pac heat, which COUNTS as heat, so thats a bullshit one too.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Stevie actually got pretty over with his Heat gimmick until the WWE writing staff realized he got himself over and made him stop.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Now he has turned face (he has, right?) he gets pure silence.
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 He wasn't that over, he was getting heat you could build off of, but it was mixed and how they were using him was mixed. And no, Test doesn't get Xpac heat, because no one gets Xpac heat. Heat is heat, if people aren't trying to kill him or leaving the arena, it's just heat.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I think he's a face now. He's whatever Victoria is that show.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 I guess no one understands Orton has NEVER been over in WWE....EVER. Test was over in 1999, so at least he was. Stevie was over as aheel, so he had heat. Orton on SD in 2002 = Booooring. Orton on Raw pre-Injury: Boring and botch-tastic. Orton now: Still boring. Still heatless
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Most people here liked Orton once. Ironically it was when he was injured and doing RNN updates.
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Awesome, you have an opinion, try not to use it as fact or state it 20+ times in the Raw thread. And Randy's never been over? Who here at TSM is more over than Randy!?
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Awesome, you have an opinion, try not to use it as fact or state it 20+ times in the Raw thread. And Randy's never been over? Who here at TSM is more over than Randy!? That doesn't work. Given that no effort has gone in to getting us over...we're actually better off than Orton is. It's like how I got as many electoral votes as Ross Perot did...but didn't spend the money.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Awesome, you have an opinion, try not to use it as fact or state it 20+ times in the Raw thread. And Randy's never been over? Who here at TSM is more over than Randy!? Kanyon....I mean....the hell??? Time for RAW. Prediction: Orton comes out to start the show.
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Effort given to Randy getting over, Randy getting over. Yeah this seems to be happening. I mean if he's being talked about more than anyone else among wrestling fans, how can you say he's not over?
Guest Anglesault Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 They booed HHH more than Hogan one night too, Hogan still got a bigger reaction. Huh?
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 They booed HHH more than Hogan one night too, Hogan still got a bigger reaction. Huh? Ditto. Both men were the top babyfaces at the time, so that makes no sense. I guess he's pulling a Chewbaccas argument out.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 (edited) Effort given to Randy getting over, Randy getting over. Yeah this seems to be happening. I mean if he's being talked about more than anyone else among wrestling fans, how can you say he's not over? We're not the fans that the WWE is trying to get talking about Orton. The reason is we'll buy/not buy whether we like what's going on or not. Edited February 3, 2004 by "Hail" bps21
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 HBK vs. Orton....wow. Orton in a main event match...
Guest BionicRedneck Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Yeah, getting 'net heat is totally useless. Plus, not all heat is good.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Effort given to Randy getting over, Randy getting over. Yeah this seems to be happening. I mean if he's being talked about more than anyone else among wrestling fans, how can you say he's not over? That makes zero sense. Because we talk about how heatless he is, he must be over?
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Thats a point, they may look foreign to you. The point is, it doesn't matter when your being exposed what kind of heat you get, just that you get it, and no matter how long you'd like to continue denying it, he is. Therefore this whole "omgmonsterpush" he's getting, is a lot more succesful thus far than your willing to concede.
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 No, because you talk about him constantly, he must be over. This isn't one or two threads simply discussing how he's not over, this is constant discussion and debate about one wrestler. That my friends, is being over.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 It's being over on a messageboard. It's the equivelent of Anglesault.
Guest BionicRedneck Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Yeah, and Teddy Hart must be a superstar. And Vince Russo. And Stephy McMahon.
The Ghost of bps21 Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 (edited) Yeah, and Teddy Hart must be a superstar. And Vince Russo. And Stephy McMahon. There's the best point of the thread there. Edited February 3, 2004 by "Hail" bps21
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Neither of them are active wrestlers, and Steph actually does draw, sad but true. Name another wrestler that got this kind of talk, and never went anywhere? It's never happened.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 The point is, it doesn't matter when your being exposed what kind of heat you get, just that you get it, Well, since that comment is clearly stupidest comment made in this thread, you can no longer criticize anyone's points.
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Yes how dumb of me, I forgot Randy's being pushed to the moon and has never ever gotten anykind of reaction from any crowd, ever. I'll be sure not to say anything unless is conveniently taken to the extreme for the sake of my point.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 Neither of them are active wrestlers, and Steph actually does draw, sad but true. Name another wrestler that got this kind of talk, and never went anywhere Test.
Guest Ghettoman Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 He never got this kind of talk, his name was never in the Raw thread 63 times a night.
Guest Anglesault Posted February 3, 2004 Report Posted February 3, 2004 He never got this kind of talk, his name was never in the Raw thread 63 times a night. Are you sure on that one?
