Guest Ash Ketchum Report post Posted April 14, 2002 *hears taps playing* turn that stuff off. Personally, I believe the tag team division has curled up into a ball and died. Why? Well, the obvious is the WWF destroyed 95% of it's tag teams to give them solo careers. Of course, except the obvious f'n choice, the Hardys, who for some reason, still seem to be together. Someone in the WWF is brain-dead. But let's see who's left in this little division of greatness... [/sarcasm]: *NOTE: List includes both Raw and Smackdown Superstars ~Billy & Chuck ~Random Team of Jobbers Thrown Together (Bossman & Perfect, for example) ~The Hardys (DIE!!!!) ~Al Snow and Maven ~The nWo And in my opinon... that's about it. There may be more... but they don't stick out in my head. Solution to the problem??? <-------Indeed!!! ~Ash Ketchum, SJL Wrestler and Fan Of GOOD Tag Teams (Not The Hardys... they suck)
Guest WWF4Life Report post Posted April 14, 2002 Well, the solution is obviously to create more tag teams, and it seems the WWF realise this. What with the planned new 'Eliminators' that have been scrapped for the time being, I think they realise that the division needs a shot in the arm. I'm glad the WWF still realises that tag team wrestling is important, unlike Bischoff, who usually neglected it. It's a shame that the injuries to Saturn and one of the Island Boyz happened at the same time, but at least the wheels are in motion for a few changes. It seems the tag titles have peaks and valleys in terms of competitiveness, and the division isn't as bad as it was in '94 to '97. The lone highlight then were Owen and Bulldog. It'll take more than Chuck & Billy to kill the division.
Guest Report post Posted April 14, 2002 I think the problem is, these days the WWF doesnt push tag teams as tag teams. They are always looking for their next big singles star, instead of focusing on the team.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 14, 2002 The biggest problem is that all the good teams always get broken up, leaving crap like the Hardys.
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 14, 2002 tag team divisions died when Chuck Palumbo was crowned the Greatest New Blood Wrestler in WCW. So when will the Dudley boys be a stable again, where are Big Dick, DW, Dudley Dudley
Guest Report post Posted April 14, 2002 Thats why the decision to turn Albert heel makes no sense. Not that him and Scotty was anything great, but at least it was a team that's been together more than one show. But I guess the Albert heat machine needed to be fed

Everybody knows that the greatest Dudley was Chubby Dudley! Anyway, I'd rather see fresh teams in the division than sit through episode 24,154 of Dudleys-Hardys...it took some balls to break the Dudley Boyz up. As for the APA...who cares? Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Well Well Well I would rather see the Dudleys take the tag belts from Billy & Chuck with help from Sign Guy or Joel Gertner. Then defend against the teams of: Awesome & Kanyon Rhyno & Edge Storm & Christian
Guest Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Its not official if they still have the titles. Im exepctiing Raw tag titles any day though.
