Assuming its Angle/Eddie

Recommended Posts

According to the storylines, Angle came back from his last neck injury a changed man (insert footage of him holding his baby daughter here) \

He did the baby thing for the last turn too.

and so it DOES make sense in some way that he'd be friendly towards Los Guerreros.

Why? Does that mean he should have been friendly towards Brock?

I don't remember any reference to his daughter during any previous face turn. She wasn't even born yet during his 2001 face run, and he never actually turned face when he went over Big Show at Armageddon in 2002 (I don't recall them mentioning her on air the way they did in July of 2003).

Also, the reason he was friendly towards Brock was because Brock was a friend to him while he was rehabbing his neck.

The feud makes as much sense as any other feud. Get over it.

Each men are each constantly pushed dispite never being real draws, booked strong as faces but pushed weak as bumbling heels. Hell, If you squint your eyes, Angle looks like a bald Luger. Each played the Patriotic Americana gimmick, Angle bragged about his Olympic credentials and Luger bragged about his bodybuilding "credentials"...

The difference being that Lugar lacked any ring skill whatsoever, while Angle's one of the top workers in the company. That makes a huge difference.

Sorry, REturn. Damn typos.

I meant should hehave been friendly with Brock(His arch enemy) when he returned this time? You said he should have been friendly with Eddie and Chavo, two guys he never particularly liked.

Smackdown DESPRATELY needs to build new legit Main Eventers. I'm assuming The Undertaker is jumping to RAW so that leaves only Angle and Lesnar as the top guys. God I hope Jericho jumps back to Smackdown, that would rule. RAW's roster is way too congested right now and they just keep throwing guys on.

I'll admit you make a strong case for the implausibility of Angle interjecting himself into the Los Guerreros feud, however that does not prove the impossibility of it. Given the end result (a match between Smackdown's two top performers), I'm willing to extend the courtesy of suspension of disbelief to the angle and just be glad there is the possibility of these two feuding for the "richest prize in the business".

In other words, you've got a good point, but the blow-off will be worth it.

As of right now, the blow off could be worth the head aches I've received whil trying to figure this feud out.

But, I think there's a strong possibility that this feud will only go south, to the point where (much like the Edge feud) the good match will not justify the idiocy.

The feud hasn't started yet.
