Personally, I always thought that Shawn Michaels the wrestler was kind of "gay" ... I don't know why, really, but between the leather and his hairy chest and just the way he posed and strutted, he just seemed like he preferred the company of men. Not a knock against him or anything like that, but his attempts at seeming tough or macho always seemed two parts Freddie Mercury & one part Frankie Goes to Hollywood. HBK looked like either a male stripper (whether gay or straight is anybody's guess) or a straight-up 80's cock-rocker (which became very gay once it went out style). DX played up the homoeroticism, though.
