Guest swan Posted April 15, 2002 Report Posted April 15, 2002 This weekend a local station not only aired "Body Slam" but "No Holds Barred" back to back. Talk about an 80's flashback.
Guest Zack Malibu Posted April 15, 2002 Report Posted April 15, 2002 The company I work for actually came across a few hundred copies of No Holds Barred as part of a wholesalers stock, and the cost of it was about $3.00. I don't think we're getting it, so I'll just wait for it to show up at a WalMart bargain video sale.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 This weekend a local station not only aired "Body Slam" but "No Holds Barred" back to back. Talk about an 80's flashback. Sweetass. Did you watch the cage match with Hogan/Beefcake vs. Zeus/Savage after NHB?
Guest razazteca Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 Roddy Pipper is the best wrestler turned actor!!!!!! They Live Hell Comes to Frog Town
Guest nWoScorpion Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 Why in the movie body Slam Piper, Tonga Kid, Barbarian, Albano all have different names for? They called Flair Flair, Blassie Blassie and samarino Samartino.
Guest Drury37 Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Speaking of wrestling movies,Ready to Rumble was on HBO this weekend,I was thinking about watching but I didn't feel like sitting there bored for watching David Arquette and a bunch of old WCW wrestlers. Thanks.
Guest nWoScorpion Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Ready 2 Rumble, sadly, is actually a match you can watch without dying form boredom. Yes the storyline sucks, but it was still fun. Minus seeing the guys naked ass running to the van. And DDP no selling baby powder to the eyes.
Guest Drury37 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 Yeah I just don't like David Arquette I always found him really annoying for some reason.Does anybody find him annoying too? Thanks.
Guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I thought ready 2 rumble was hilarious in a slapstick kind of stupid way. Maybe its just me, or maybe no one else wants to admit to it. --Rob
Guest Drury37 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I've never watched it from start to finish but a funny wrestling movie is better than a serious one if you ask me because you could just laugh along with it. Thanks.
Guest dreamer420 Posted April 18, 2002 Report Posted April 18, 2002 I thought it had some laughs in it. I hate David Arquette and the whole storyline with him getting together with a nitro girl. It was cool to see all the WCW talent on the big screen, and it was cool for DDP to have a pretty big part in a pretty big movie.
Guest Drury37 Posted April 19, 2002 Report Posted April 19, 2002 Yeah it was a pretty neat idea, except for the David Arquette thing. Thanks.
