The first quarter

Guest Just call me Dan

So far, this has been a very up and down 2002.  The first quarter of the year is nearly in the books, and will be oficially when Backlash is in the books.

The may be a little premature, but who would you consider the man who has been the jack of all trades, or the one who has all around become the WWf's MVP this year?

Who would you consider as the jackass?

Best and worst of 2002 so far, what is it?

Jackass: HHH

I loved him so much, and I still have a lot ofd respect for him, but he's not entertaining of the very least right now.

It's time to shake off the ring rust ( If that's what you want to call it) and turn heel on Hogan.  Get the belt off of him or do something because as pof now this is the worst game I've ever played.

MVP: Angle

I don't see him as the slightest bit stale, unlike the rambling Austin, same old same old Flair, On and off again Rock and whiny Jericho.  He is great in the ring and is just a tremendous talent.  I watch him and I get what I want.  Can't ask for more, except for him to be booked a bit better.

MVP:Angle...im gonna basically ditto callmedan's thought on it...he's been the most solidly stable one...seconded by Jericho.

Jackass: tie: Scott Hall/HHH

Scott- came back to the fold...made enemies early...cant cut a promo to save his life and looks bad in the ring...

HHH:we all know.

Jack Of All Trades:RVD- can work the crowd...can go most styles...making the ic title worth a crap again...

best of '02 so far: Brand split

worst:HHH

I'm digging this split right now too, definetly has played out better than the botched Invasion and nWo mega huge angles.

ya sometimes that best answer is to do what you need to do...instead of following your whimsy...

Wow, has it been a quarter of a year already? It's amazing to compare this year to last year at this time. Look at all the MOTY canidates we had by now in 01. Now try and name one this year. I tried to figure it out, and my only answer was Rock Jericho at the Rumble, which wasnt even their best. Slow start indeed.

MVP - Angle. The best worker, the best heel, the best on the mic besides Rock, and all this while getting PPV's with Kane and Edge. Slight nod to Jericho, who was the man until....

Jackass - Steph/HHH. It's not what you know, its who you nail. These two took what was a rather interesting heel champion and had him cleaning up dog shit, then forced us to watch lousy matches and worse interviews. Trips is a terrible face, and until he turns and joins the NWO, he and Chesty LaRue will win this prestigous honor.

MVP- Angle, puts up with BS and has had a great year so far consitering he hasn't done very much at all. Give him a good main event fued through the Summer and he's set. Super mic. skills but has to get away from Edge.

Jackass-Stephanie and Triple H, Wrestlemania build-up down the drains. Backstage crap. Triple H is an awful face, he's gotta turn and join the NWO. Stephanie can stay away.

KANYON:

Alliance MVP

but, seeing as this is the end of april (4th month,) we're technically about to end the first THIRD of the year, because if this were a fourth of the way through, well, that'd be about as legitimate as a 16 month year, because, we all know, theres 12 months in a year...

in this fiscal year

had alot of wrestlers return to the WWF, some with alot of hype NWO while others sneaked in Goldust and some after a long time sitting and drinking beer finally get a push Bradshaw.

The Brand Split is a good/bad thing, while keeping some talent only on one show has kept those who do not have cable or UPN wondering what is going on.  Excess being the best recap show but is shown on Saturday nights kind of defeats the purpose.

MVP - what? its Austin

Jack of all Trades - Angle

Jackass - McMahon on aire characters all of them

Worst - Jericho as champ and the lack of build up of his character

MVP - NWO

You know I'm going to get heat for this but who has coincided with the highest buy rates of the year and gained losts of interest. Angle's been in the mid card, Jericho's been weakly booked, Austin's been a jackass, Rock's solid but has been overshadowed by Hogan, and HHH has been a stiff. Whereas as much as everyone hates them, their presence has garnered interest and has earned money.

MVP - The Rock. Not only is he one of the best in ring performers in the WWF but he took part in one of the most memorable and entertaining (not good) matches in Wrestlemania history. But he is also getting recognition for the WWF in all facets of the media. He is probably making the WWF more money then anyone else.

Jackass - Vince. All of the complaining about HHH could be stopped if one man had the integrity to do it. Yet he doesn't he lets his daughter run the book and one of his superstars on the creative team. Inmates running the asylum is not a good thing. I wish Vince would use some sense.
