Guest Report post Posted April 15, 2002 With all the negativeity and so many people getting typecasted as "jaded internet smarks", I say let's start a thread where each post is one/ a few positive things about the WWF or wrestling in general. here's my start: WWF: Chris Jericho, Stephanie is off TV -The WWA PPV: nobody died or got sick, and it had some decent cruiserweight action Joe P. Guest Mik at Cornell Report post Posted April 15, 2002 WWF: Brock Lesnar and I know I'm in the minority but for me and my friends it has been the return of Hulkamania. Although I realize he sucks I grew up a Hulkamaniac and now I am a very nostalgic 20 year old.
Guest Caliban Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Lets see now... The Roster Split: Means we don't see the same old wrestlers twice a week, and it has helped to freshen things up in my eyes. The Return of the Male Manager: Paul Heyman and Rico are a breath of fresh air, after we got valet after valet after valet. Brock Lesnar: The first new face in the WWF since the Invasion, and truly an awesome sight to behold. It's new, fresh, and entertaining. New Raw Song: I think it kicks ass. Kurt Angle: Always entertaining. Kane: Seems to be channelling the spirit of Mankind into his persona, and it's working.

Hulkamania is alive and well for us at Rutgers too (I know, I know; let the flogging begin;-). and yeah, we all look foward to seeing when Brock comes out now. Joe P. Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Torrie Wilson Trish Stratus Stacy Keibler (anyone else sense a pattern here?) Other than that, I'd say Brock Lesnar's push, my anticipation of Benoit's return, the RVD-Eddy feud (which will blow us away if booked right), and yes, just a little though, Hogan. If taking people on a nostalgia trip is what the WWF needs for buyrates, ratings, and sales, then more power to 'em.
Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted April 15, 2002 1. The Split- 2 different flavours to fit your fever 2. Angle continuing to shine brightly 3. The fans ie: montreal 4. Having someone that we can hate so completely 5. (for me anyway) being excited about what gonna happen next...having 2 separate shows still offers so many opportunities I only really pay a lot of attention to WWF so i can only comment on it. Guest Red Hot Thumbtack In The Eye Report post Posted April 15, 2002 i'll add Brock and Eddy/RVD to that list.
Guest Report post Posted April 15, 2002 -Eddie Gurrero/RVD Intercontinental Championship fued -(although I really liked the "double belts) the new UnDisputed World Championship
Guest Just call me Dan Report post Posted April 15, 2002 No Stephanie Brock Lesnar just being such a great enigmatic character leaving us all wndering what he will do next. RVD and Eddie Guerrero as well as the strong mid-card as of late. Kurt Angle expanding his moves and just delivering constantly. Hulkamania, or just Hogan in general, he is definetly more motivated. Kane - finally a storyline to give a dman about. The split - interest is up drastically for me. longer matches are taking over the TV. CW matches are getting time. Women's division is looking terrific. Raven at commentary. Fresh gimmicks like DVon Scott Hall - he's nothing like he was but I just like the guy.
Guest Report post Posted April 15, 2002 -Supposed Pushing of the Cruisers, which could be REALLY good. -Chris Benoit -the Return of Eddy Freakin' Guerrero -Kurt Angle-WOOOO!!!! - Ric Flair- WOOOOO!!!! - Chris Benoit - Brock Lesnar- he could be seriously one of the biggest stars ever if they give 'em that Goldberg push -Chris Benoit - Steph off TV for the time being - HHH/Hogan at Backlash....ooohh.....wait, sorry wrong list. - RVD vs. EDDY - Chris Benoit -Chris Benoit -Chris Benoit (who I heard might get a manager in the mold of an Arn Anderson.....which would be 6746 kinds of good)
Guest Report post Posted April 15, 2002 I'm guessing everyone realizes that the Brock push should be taken off their list. *cough*Bradshaw*cough*

Guest godthedog Report post Posted April 15, 2002 kidman/tajiri feud: it's making sense, & it's giving 2 good wrestlers a chance to wrestle.

Guest caboose Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Good Things: D'Lo Brown's coming back! Molly Holly's new Look! Rocky won't be kissing upto Hogan for a few weeks at least! Chris Benoit is coming! Kurt NAgle & Chris Jericho's Pact! Bad Things: Everything else! Most Notably: Austin feuding with Taker:( Triple H's Intensity The New Undiputed Belt, It's fucking Ugly!
Guest Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Triple H's Intensity Imagine the intensity in a match between HHH & Warrior! With Warrior shaking the ropes and HHH spitting water! Hey, there is a good thing. Warrior isn't back. Also they seemed to have stopped Test push #457.
Guest saturnmark4life Report post Posted April 15, 2002 Brock (we hope) Cruisers (we hope) No steph (we hope)
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Good things: Rocky getting good media exposure for the WWF. What better way to erase instances like Vince on Bob Costas' show than with the intellegent, articulate Rock? He'll be off tv for a while, but it's worth it if he can present wrestling to the world as something more than a joke. Molly Holly and Jazz making it as women heels in the WWF. Eddy Guerrero as a chickenshit heel.
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 1) women wrestlers starting to be treated like WRESTLERS as opposed to low-rate strippers (jerry lawler) 2)pushing cruisers 3)jericho and angle getting the upper hand over hhh and hhh 4)rico the sex god
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 We already HAD a HHH/Warrior match. I wasn't quite as INTENSE~! as I would have liked it to be though. Nowadays, I think my TV WOULD FRY WITH INTENSITY~! at such a matchup. Just think, Warri0r shaking the ropes, and HHH THE GAME HUNTER HEARST HELMSELY SPITTING HIS WATER ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE BECAUSE HE IS THAT DAMN GOOD, we'd get one hell of an intense matchup. THIS is your new most anticapted remtach in wrestling history ever: HHH/Warrior. Oh yeah, and I am dying and I MEAN DYING to see the inevitable Bradshaw/Undertaker encounter. [/crackhead mode]
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I think Bradshaw/Nash will be a match for the ages.

Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 -EDIT: I almost forgot that there already WAS a BAD~!shaw vs. Bossman match on Heat. I hoped SOMEBODY taped it....... They only got about 7 minutes. I'd like to see a 15 + minutes match between the two.
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 15+? 20+ is more like it. Imagine what sort of magical pro-wrestling tapestry those two could weave with a half an hour. It would be the best thing since sliced bread.
