TNA News Notes: AAA, Bound For Glory, More

Posted By Ashish on 02.17.04

Some news from TNA...

- TNA is in talks to work with AAA again in the future. Once the deal is worked out, expect more talent swaps between the two promotions.

- TNA is working to cut down how many people hang out backstage at the weekly PPVs.

- Bound for Glory, TNA's first 3 hour Sunday PPV, likely will not happen on April 4th now. No new date has been scheduled. TNA has again decided not to rush the event.

- Teddy Hart and Jack Evans are scheduled to work the 2/25 TNA PPV.

It's probably a one shot for Hart as he's just too expensive to have consistently. But probably an ok move as the X-Division plays to his strengths but he in no way should become a regular or be anything more than a job boy.

Aside from the "how many people hang out backstage" stuff that I couldn't care less about...I take all of this as good news.

April 4 is really soon...and they are nowhere near ready for that show yet.

Also...shouldn't the next "America's Cup" be TNA going to Mexico to try and win it back?

Wouldn't that be cool? I mean...wouldn't it make it seem more important anyway?

AAA invasion would be good since I actually get AAA tv. Even though it completely sucks compared to CMLL.

I know this is totally off-topic, but bps, quality TV is not even close to being dead. Check out anything on HBO with the exception of Arli$$.
