Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Maybe I've just sort of been wanting to say this again and haven't been able to since we left Snowbords, but are the people on the WWF board idiots or what? They've got a damned twenty post thread with people complaining about Brock Lesnar jobbing to Bradshaw at a house show in Bradshaw's hometown. I mean, yeesh. And no offense is meant to our wonderful batch of n00bs we've gotten from here.
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I think you get that anywhere there's a sort of smart community. I'm telling you though, with the number of posts and amount of time on the boards some of these guys rack up, we ought to look into recruiting them. ...or maybe not. I'm not sure we want 35 variations of Chris Benoit running around, as cool as that would be for making a baseball team.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted April 16, 2002 At least after RAWs we don't see twenty different comment threads..speaking of that, wrastlin' is on tonight.
Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Don't make me complain about you two. I'll do it.
Guest BA_Baracus Report post Posted April 16, 2002 PROMO (Stubby P. McWeed); "Bradshaw beat Brock Lesnar in his hometown on a house show?! What a trevesty! Is the WWF out of their fucking minds?! I'm never going to watch wrestling again! Mothernature says, how could they?!"
Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 16, 2002 And since I'm bitching about the WWF board, is there anyone in the freaking world who doesn't hate HHH and doesn't think he is single-handedly holding down all the talent in the WWF? I mean, jeez!! These guys make your standard "Aliens stole my semen and are breeding an army of super-slackers" conspiracy theorists look positively like marriage material! Yes, I am a HHH mark. Since back when he was still the Greenwich snob. Please don't flame me for this, I just get tired of all these 12 year olds who know what's "happening" backstage. Guest Xstasy Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Don't worry King, I hate that smart crap too. The thing I hate most is the fickleness. Eight months ago, everyone thought Jericho was the king of everything WWF. He got popular, and suddenly the smarts hate him. But they're always right. Never forget that. Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Close but not quite X. They're always right when they agree with ME.
Guest admin Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Lol, how funny, i have found some people spend MAJOR time on these boards, also we normaly keep 20-30+ on them 24/7 Rather if its Christmas or Newyears, etc. The WWF thread is pyco post wise, theres TONS of people in them. Guest admin Report post Posted April 16, 2002 No, i'am admin. i changed my post to 100,000+post. i have really only posted about 500 post maybe not even that.
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I don't really hate Trips, I just find people who hate him funny (aka Anglesault). And I think, post injury, he's not as fun/exciting/intense to watch... Jericho was scr00d!
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted April 16, 2002 They hate Trips because he is boring in the ring. Also, Meltzer has said that HHH was doing some bashing of wrestlers at booker meetings. Jericho still rules. Who else didn't mark when he stepped over Hogan? Once again, if Trips decides to sacrifice himself like he did in 2000, with all of the amazing work he was a part of, the smarts wouldn't care about his INTENSITY~!, they'd mark out for him working his ass off. Guest Suicide King Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Munich, I WILL destroy you for your insolence. Quite frankly, Meltzer ain't always right. As far as observable backstage phenomena (a tiny percentage, I know) goes I'd put him right around the 50% mark. Not good grades. Guys? You don't have to like Jericho OR HHH. You can like both. It's allowed. I like both, and I agree that Jericho's title reign was both awesome and fun. But title reigns don't last forever. Adapt, adjust, move on. Guest Grand Slam Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I started watching wrestling again in the spring of 2000, and discovered IGN Wrestling and all of the other sites soon thereafter. Munich, ever since I have been reading, the IWC has tried to do nothing but tear HHH down, even in 2000 when he "tore it up". As I remember, most sites were praying for HHH's comeback in January as the savior of the WWF. They talked about his intensity, his workrate, his dedication to the business and his remarkable comeback from life-altering leg surgery. I swear to you, it wasn't a week later when the same old "glass ceiling" stories started making their rounds and people in the IWC were all on the "HHH Sucks" bandwagon. I don't begrudge anyone their opinion, Lord knows I have enough of my own, but I despise hypocrisy. I will say proudly that I am a huge Rock fan. I think the Undertaker, new gimmick and all, is one of the best in the business. I loved Stone Cold's heel run. I think Chris Benoit is a wonder to behold in the ring. I think Chris Jericho has more charisma than is allowed by natural law. I think Billy & Chuck are hi-freakin'-larious. I mark out for Al Snow and Steve Blackman. I think Test is underrated. I thought the Albert / Kane feud was great. I believe that Kane is a main eventer. I think RVD was overrated when he came into the WWF, but has developed his style to fit better with the WWF style. All of these things would, in many places, catch me no end of crap from the IWC. Then again, I don't think much of most of the opionions of the IWC. Wow. That felt good. Pardon my rant, but that has been building for months.
Guest Zero_Cool Report post Posted April 16, 2002 OK, the Internet Wrestling Community has it's issues with glass ceilings or whatever..but I just have to say that I used to be a huge HHH mark before he came back and did nothing but punch, kick, and fued with Stephanie over a dog. Of course, this is a guy who had MOTYs a couple years ago..We probably set the bar a bit high.
Guest chirs3 Report post Posted April 17, 2002 Jericho's reign shoulda lasted longer. A meager three months is not enough for a larger than life living legend!

Guest Beingz0wningj00 Report post Posted April 17, 2002 It was a four month reign, you jackass! Damn Mark... that was one kickass rant. I don't have time to do one, but rest assured, I will. and Meltzer = Dipshit 50% of the time! *Off JD goes!*
