Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted April 16, 2002 The WWF isn't using him right at all...what would you do with Diamond Dallas Page?
Guest evenflowDDT Report post Posted April 16, 2002 The WWF has used DDP somewhat sporadically, and never presented him as anything other than an occasionally (VERY occasionally) strong midcarder. As such, I'd have taken advantage of the split to give him a constant midcard spot on Smackdown! (that's the one he's on, right? I don't even know, I've just seen his name pop up in a Metal report) If they had had him retain over Regal way back when, and keep up the DDP/Christian feud over the European title, it could have added some much-needed credibility to DDP's WWF career and the European title. As it is, he's not even headlining Metal...
Guest caboose Report post Posted April 16, 2002 First drop the Positively Page gimmick. Get back his old Nirvana-Smells Like Teen Spirit Music. Get back his proper Pyro, with the continous explosion. Get Kimberley at Ringside again. Get back that Job from Taker. Diamond Cut Triple H to fix his nose.

I think the JAcked order is the order the audience sees them in so DDP and Holly was the main event there.

Guest Human Fly Report post Posted April 16, 2002 "Give him back SELF HIGH FIVE return him to the wcw gimmick of the overachieving underdog put him in a feud with a strong heel so he can cement himself with the wwf fanbase." Exactly. It would work too.

Guest Cataclysm911 Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Put Kimberly on TV in scantily clad clothing and promote how she is DDP's wife. If he doesn't get a fanbase after that, it's a lost cause.
Guest Nater Report post Posted April 16, 2002 First drop the Positively Page gimmick. Agree here. Get back his old Nirvana-Smells Like Teen Spirit Music. Pass. Get back his proper Pyro, with the continous explosion. Agree here. Get Kimberley at Ringside again. Of course. Get back that Job from Taker. Not gonna happen. Diamond Cut Triple H to fix his nose. See above.
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I think they had something for a week or two when he first won the euro title, and was running into the crowd and stuff.. The fiasco with the Undertaker has really hurt him ... I mean he lost to the guy's wife.. maybe Kimberley should come back and beat up Taker!
Guest notJames Report post Posted April 16, 2002 How about putting him out to pasture? No offense, but the old guy does nothing for me. Not when you have so many younger, more athletic guys on the roster that actually move AND talk faster. And really, his overachieving underdog gimmick in WCW was crap because everyone knew he had Bischoff's ear, and besides, his "SCUM" promos were rambling and boring. $0.
Guest Risk Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I thought he made a good manager for "Superstar" Christian Cage(my own name for him). Damn WWF "good" guys and "bad" guys. I miss 98.

Hall is 10 years younger than Page and Nash is 8 years younger than him. Man, Hogan is 4 years younger than the guy. I like DDP though because he worked his ass off starting as a manager learning the business and then he worked from the bottom of WCW all the way to the top. He got some very good matches out of Hogan in 98 and 99, he deserves a good run in the WWF since he took such a huge paycut to come to the WWF.
Guest Ripper Report post Posted April 16, 2002 How old do you think DDP is!!!! DDP still put on a Great match with lance storm, a couple with Christian and others. He still moves a tremedous speed, he sells well and has a nice offence, knows how to play the crowd(notible by how he can pop a crowd in meaningless fueds). If nothing else, the guy was one of the few WCW guys that didn't wait out their contract and wanted to get back on with their business(along with Booker T). That at least shows his(their) dedication to the business. How you don't use him is let him get over in a gimmick through his mike work, then have Kane come out and choke slam him, then have Big Show come out and make fun of him, beat him up and send him to Jakked, then wonder why he isn't over(which is still a arguable point because he STILL pops the hell out of a crowd just teasing a Diamond cutter. Looking back, Booker T and Page should have waited out their contract, since showing dedication to the business aparently gets you no where in the WWF.
