Guest Mik at Cornell Report post Posted April 16, 2002 A post in the Old Stuff forum got me thinking about this and I know alot of people on these boards think the Scorpion King is going to be bomb. I said it there and I will say it here: If you think The Scorpion King is going to be a flop, you are CRAZY. According to early reviews the movie is being called a fun movie. Now of course it's not best picture nominee but NO movies like this ever are. Even if the movie got horrible reviews it will do huge numbers based on the amount of hype going into it. And if that's not enough evidence for you, think about this... The Mummy Returns did over $200,000,000 which is pretty much the movie equivalent of winning the Undisputed Title by pinning Hogan, HHH, Andre the Giant and UT in the same night. The Scorpion King is essentially the same movie, and I guarantee right here that the Scorpion King will clear at least $100 million. There's a lot of people in Hollywood who would sell their souls to have a "$100 million flop." Now I understand some people hate the Rock but this movie will be in no way considered a flop. Of course it's all speculation until Friday but there is no way this movie will bomb. Suck? Maybe. Not be a success? No way. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

If i want a fun movie i'll just wait for Jason X so screw this bargain basement faux fantasy movie. Stop being delusional. This post has nothing at all to do with wrestling it is totally about a movie. Doesn't matter if a wrestler is in the movie this post had nothing to do with wrestling. Movie forum. On top of that you were responding to people who think that the movie will flop...well...any thread about that can also be found in this folder...either because it was moved where it belonged...or because the porson who started it respect the few and simple rules of the forum and posted it properly.
