Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Which heel or face turns were the best? 1) Bret Hart and Austin - WM13 double turn 2) HHH - WM15 when he turned heel on DX (just cause we saw X-pac get his assed kicked royally by Trips) 3) Hogan - BATB 96 when he joins the nWo
Guest caboose Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Rock turning Corporate at Survivor Series 1998. Savage turning Face at Wrestlemania VII can't argue with the Bret/Austin Switch.
Guest AM The Kid Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Owen/Bret..."and thats why I kicked you leg from your...uh...leg."
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Andre on Pipers Pit ripping Hogan's shirt off and hiring Heenan. That was HEAVY, especially for an eight year old
Guest razazteca Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Shawn Michaels on Pipers Pit or was it Brother Love when HBK turned on Marty
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Shawn Michaels on Pipers Pit or was it Brother Love when HBK turned on Marty Barber Shop Anyway, the greatest has to be Bret/Austin.
Guest Zack Malibu Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I have no idea why it still does, but the British Bulldog turning heel on Diesel ranks highly on the "most shocking heel turns list" for me. Mr. Perfect's face turn before Survivor Series 92 Ric Flair's "Babyface push", only to reveal the new Horsemen in 1995 (Halloween Havoc, when he turned on Sting) Undertaker's face turn against Jake Roberts. Guest Redhawk Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Rick Martel walking out on Tito Santana at Wrestlemania 8. Christian turning on Edge in Toronto. Paul Orndorff turning on Hulk Hogan. Triple H's face turn during the Angle-Stephanie-HHH "love triangle." The Rock's face turn after Backlash 1999.
Guest Risk Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Heels and faces are pretty lame, so none.
Guest Special K Report post Posted April 16, 2002 From the good ol' EE-CEE-DUB, the Sabu-Taz double turn was pretty darn good, though probably not as good as many others mentioned already.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Heels and faces are pretty lame, so none. I wonder what you like. Heels & faces have been a part of wrestling practically from the beginning. Everything from puro to AAA to ECW to NWA to WWF have had heels & faces.
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I think all turns pale in comparison to Hogan joining the nWo at BATB.
Guest Kahran Ramsus Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I have to go with Andre the Giant. Biggest heel turn and storyline ever. And I am not a mark for either guy, so that says something.
Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 HEY, is everyone forgetting Ahmed Johnson's heel turn to join the Nation? ::echo:: Hello? ::crickets:: WELL, I LIKED IT!....
Guest Human Fly Report post Posted April 16, 2002 On an episode of Superstars when Brian Pillman was still on crutches he came down and danced with the Buschwackers. When they turned around he bashed them with his crutch. Alright, maybe it wasn't a turn but it was funny as crap.
Guest Risk Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Heels and faces are pretty lame, so none. I wonder what you like. Heels & faces have been a part of wrestling practically from the beginning. Everything from puro to AAA to ECW to NWA to WWF have had heels & faces. ECW didn't really. At least, not "heels" and "faces". They had guys the fans LIKED and DIDN'T like, but it wasn't as overdramatic as the WWF right now. Mastermind explains it best in his post on my thread, "Vince McMahon denounces heels and faces". Direct all your questions and comments there. Glad I could help.
