The one and only raw thread for 4/15

I admit, that was excellently done, and Lita looked VERY good, didn't she?
She looked like she woke up on the wrong side of the crypt this morning, after a nice night of repeatedly getting a shovel planted into her face.

=======

Highlights of Raw:

- Brock Lesnar kicking the shit outta Matt Hardy.  I hope they turn it into a Handicap match at the PPV.  Then I might just consider getting it for the pure joy of seeing the Hardy Boyz in a squash getting the living shit kicked out of them.

- RVD v. Eddy G... This, along with the above reason, are the only reasons I watch Raw.  To see Lesnar beat the shit out of people and to see what happens next on Eddy v. RVD.

- Is it funny or what?  During the Triple H promo(ugh) segement.  When JR was hyping up Hulkamania running wild, people were like "Yay................... *pin drop*".  Then Triple H started talking shit and the people were like "Zzzzzzzzz..... zzzzzz...."  I think Bossman gets better reactions when he talks on the mic (Ross thought: OMG PUSH HIM~!).  Point being:  Jericho shoulda never dropped the belt at all.  I don't really care who wins the belt at Backlash whatsoever.  HHH's heat is dying out (Hopefully Vince will notice and stop putting him on our TV screens for 20 minute piss breaks) and Hulkamania is running............... away.

That's it... Mmmhmm.

Yeah that interview was just DEAD...

I wonder if it had anything to do with it being Raw and the hhh vs. hhh thing being more of a smackdown story.

I put my tv on mute right when HGH came out.  Very useful.  I wonder when the trained seal marks will realise the product sucks.

That whole Intensity thing is amusing...especially the Intense:  HHH, etc. Not Intense:  RVD, etc.  HHH, I will admit he is intense.  And RVD isn't intense, in fact he is the most laid back stoner in wrestling history.  That sums it up.

You know what's funny?  Even WCW knew when to turn someone heel if the crowd was not responding.  HHH's interview was strange last night.....he comes out and the crowd goes nuts.  Then he gets in the ring and takes forever to say anything, which kills the crowd.  Then he blathers "I am the game, the undisputed WWF champion, etc." and the crowd is just catatonic.  It didn't help that he was using Raw to talk about a feud with Hogan, who is on SMDN.

There are only 2 reasons I watch RAW:

1.Brock Lesnar

2.RVD/Eddy Guerrero feud

After those 2 reasons everything else is just the same ol' crap and HGH's title run absolutely sucks, tired of hearing about him being called the best in the business b/c his promos are boring and predictable like his wrestling moveset, Benoit does better promos that HGH . I can't wait for Vince to open his eyes and jobs HGH out of the title.

Part One:

RVD is GREAT

Part Two:

Thats called the 'Taker pop. Everyone pops for the music and screams, then nobody cares. See: Edge.

On the subject of HHH: It was just one show.  He's been over everywhere else, so everyone's had to rely on the perfectly viable "He sucks" defense to justify taking the belt off of him.  He gets a lackluster reaction on one show, and everyone forgets that he's been getting great reactions the last several weeks.  Well, don't.  That promo, though...I don't want to ever, ever see anyone criticize the Rock for being repetitive or predictable on the mic again.  I'd rather hear "roody poo" and "turn that sumbitch sideways" and all the rest every week for the rest of my life than hear one more goddamned boring-ass Triple H face promo.

In conclusion, he is over enough to warrant having the title but shouldn't be allowed near a microphone until a) he turns heel or, b) they make liquid personality that he can inject into his ass.  That is all.

It's funny, but here is the difference in RVD/HHH in terms of pops.  RVD comes out and gets an ok pop usually (his music sucks, harder to recognize than HHH, Austin, Rock).  But then during the match the crowd goes apeshit over him and chants "RVD."  HHH comes out and gets a huge response, then gets on the mic....crowd is silent.

I think the WWF is afraid to truly push a smaller guy though.  The times they tried  it really hasn't worked all that well.  I know a lot of people who thought it was silly that Michaels could beat Nash, Sid, Vader.  "those guys are either 7 feet tall or are 450 lbs, they would kill Michaels."  Michaels really didn't have enough credible offense to put down a guy that size either (a friggin superkick?).  Same goes with Jericho, his offense just doesn't look INTENSE enough.  Who would go down to a lionsault?  Or his pussified Liontamer?

RVD doesn't seem to have this problem.  His offense seems very credible against guys like UT and Kane.  He has so many high impact moves that a fan can feasibly see him winning against a guy twice his size.

He's just not a HOSS though.

I was laughing so hard at the end of the interview:

"They wont beat me beause I am the Undispued Champion!......*waiting for a pop*.......AND I'm that damn good!.....*pin drop*

Everyone must have gotten headaches from his intensity and fallen asleep.

Did they really need the Iron Cross to talk on RAW? He has almost nothing to do with the RAW brand at the moment.

What? You think Hogan can't beat the game with a legdrop?

No, it's that Hogan isn't even in HHH's league when it comes to INTENSITY!!!!!

I don't think we'll see Hogan job two straight ppv's BUT there is no way Trips is giving up his belt either. Look for an inconclusive screwjob ending.

Speaking of Backlash, I hope HHH-Hogan falls on its face and the crowd completely turns on them ala Booker-Buff. Then Vince would have no choice but to scrap the HHH (whichever one you choose) reign of terror and start inserting NEW guys into the main event scene. I could also say the same thing about Taker-Austin but that would be too much chaos and upheaval for Vinnie Mac to take.

ON one side i want Hogan to win so his orange ass will be off our tvs sooner.

On the other side we all know if Hogan wins the belt it won't be long till he has a death grip on Vince's balls and Vince starts giving him power then Hogan will never fucking leave our tvs.

So i guess Hogan winning won't do anything to rid us of him sooner.

So leeets go Tripl...no leeets go double dq and a vacated belt. It's the only good way for this match to end.

A double dq with the title being held up would rule.  Then Ric and Vince could split the titles and we have no more brand interaction EVER.  Not even ppvs.
