Guest Report post Posted April 16, 2002 Anyone remember the dreaded WCW mascot that was on Monday Nitro? I do. Its name was Wildcat Willie and it was really stupid. Poffo was under WCW contract for years and never used because of a clause in Randy Savage's contract, so it makes sense. I couldn't confirm that though. Anyway, I went to a couple of Nitros in that time frame, and it seems his entire purpose was to hand out Hulk Hogan shirts to the first few rows so the cameras could create the illusion that people cared about Hogan enough to buy his merchandise.
