Guest Some Guy Report post Posted April 16, 2002 I like them both *cues Pomp and Circumstamce* (Macho's music) WDI doesn't have much traffic, but has such an incredibly wierd sense of humor that I love the place. The SmarkBoard (if the name still has the word "Smark" in it then it's still Smarkish enough to be considered part of the Smarks) has too much traffic and tends not to have much of a sense of humor. I've seen Justin poking around too...for the same reasons. But...the smarks are moved out of here. They no longer have a site attached to the board...nor do they care to contribute/continue to run this place...for whatever reason. The smarks as a site...are no longer here. We would like to launch with actual content, so were getting up some columns n submission schedules. Guest Report post Posted April 17, 2002 Hey Bps I have a quick question. On the page if you type in newforum.thesmraks.com you get soemthing that tells the new site is at newsmarks.mcmus.com. Now if that site is not apart of the Smarks anymore then why does it have archives and is called The smarks? If that mcmus site is still apart of the Smarks then why did Scott move it to 411? Guest bps "The Truth" 21 Report post Posted April 17, 2002 Heres the deal as I know it. the admin runs this site. That really is nothing new...as he has been doing that since we got the new board. When I say "smarks" I mean Botter, Keith, Scotsman et all. They no longer write for the site that will be attached to this board. The admin does also run the site that is attached to this board NOW. as it was abandoned in the smarks move to 411. So the layout for the site (for now) is the same...because the old skin is being used. However...once the new site is fully functional...it will have all new writers (comprised of many of the people found here...see the future of the forum folder or email tryout columns to Goodhelmet if you wish). As far as I can tell...the new site will be a site for the posters of the board...by the posters of the board. the smarks stuff is at 411 now. The change isn't complete yet...a some things are in the developmental stages...but in the future...this is what it will be... ...to the best of my knowledge.
