Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted February 21, 2004 From the Observer web site WWE house show report 2-20 Evansville by Cory Walker WWE (Raw) Road to WrestleMania Tour 2-20-04 Evansville, Indiana Roberts Stadium Coach opened the show and immediately announced Jericho was not there, but Eric Bischoff had another opponent for Kane. Coach announced the entire show. 1. Steven Richards w/Victoria d. Test Test attacked Victoria and was then pinned by Richards. Trish Stratus came out briefly to help Victoria to the back. 2. Lance Storm d. Nick Dinsmore Man, Lance Storm has some amazing balance on the top rope. Their was an awesome spot where he jumped on the middle of the top rope and did a back flip with Dinsmore holding his arm. 3. Rico w/Jackie d. Horshu Whoa! Jackie turned em loose and distracted Horshu allowing Rico to get the pin. Crowd was absolutely bezerk when she flashed everybody. 4. Mark Jindrak & Garrison Cade d. Kevin Fertig & Travis Tomko. Jindrak & Cade had an interview segment before the match. 5. Trish Stratus & Lita d. Molly Holly & Jazz when Stratus pinned Holly Chris Benoit had an interview with the Coach which ended with Coach getting the Crippler Crossface. The Coach came out with his arm in a sling after intermission. Intermission 6. Kane d. Val Venis with the Chokeslam Kane talked before the match. Two Undertaker gongs sounded, one during the match and one after. Kane left in a hurry. 7. RVD & Booker T d. Randy Orton & Batista when RVD hit the frog splash on Orton for the pin 8. World Title Match HHH d. Benoit with the Pedigree after Orton & Batista interfered HHH talked before the match. This was a long match featuring two flying headbutts, a sharpshooter, a crossface, and interference from Orton & Batista at the very end. HHH hit Benoit with the belt and they did a near fall. Then he hit the Pedigree for the pin. The wrestling on this show was very solid. There wasn't a bad match. Crowd was very lively as usual. Guest wildpegasus Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Nick Dinsmore was on the card going up against Storm who sounded like he was doing that spot Owen does off of the ropes. It would've been very interesting to see that match. Hopefully the WWE is going to brign the guy up from OVW.

Guest Real F'n Show Report post Posted February 21, 2004 Storm's spot where he has ahold of his opponents arm, jumps to the top rope, falls to his legs on the top rope, bounces back and lands on his feet in a backflip and takes his opponent over in an armdrag is so awesome. He did it on Raw once in a RVD/Storm vs. Jericho/Christian match, but he hasn't done it since. He also did this huge no-hnaded leap to the top and came off with a back elbow. Storm rules. I say sometime later this year they bring in Dinsmore as a Benoit protege, as I hear he wrestles a similar style.

Storm doesn't like to hit those fancy, crowd pleasing spots when he's a heel so now that he's a face we'll probably see them get popped out every once in a while. I've heard great things about Benoit vs Dinsmore from OVW and only positive things about Dinsmore himself. I think the problem is people say he could have more charisma.
