Guest Karnage Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 I have Crazy Taxi and Fire Pro D so far and I'm getting World Series 2K2 tomorrow. What other good Dreamcast games are there?
Guest Pegasus Kid Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 Um... the library is around 400 games IIRC. There's lots of good games. Most of the 2K2 games turned out very well and their fighting games are top notch. I don't play much else so I can't offer an opinion. BTW, if anyone has either a burned or used copy they're willing to part with of "Street Fighter Alpha 3" or "Street Fighter II: Super Turbo" please drop me an email or reply here. I'm desperately looking for both games and have TONS of stuff to offer in trade.
Guest Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 Shen-mue is without a doubt, IMO, is the best DC game out there, if you can get past all the talking that is required to play. Soul Caliber in alot of people's opinion, is the best fighting game ever. Power Stone is a fun fighting game. Sonic Adventure provides about 5 days of fast paced game play. NFL 2k or 2k1 is a great footbal game experience. I've also heard good things about Grandia 2. Never, EVER buy Royal Rumble, it sucks, the ability to have lots of people in the ring doesn't mean it's good. There's a few other games that are pretty decent but no exploder titles as the DC didn't really have much time to flourish. R.I.P. Dreamcast
Guest Sakura Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 "Street Fighter II: Super Turbo" It's Super Street Fighter II X. Soul Calibur Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike King of Fighters: Evolution Marvel vs. Capcom 2 Buy them.
Guest Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 Damn, forgot about Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Yeah, buy it.
Guest Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 Yeah, all the 2k2 sports games are good to great.. Tennis and Nhl are my fav's The UFC game is pretty good
Guest Pegasus Kid Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 It's Super Street Fighter II X. *shrugs* whatever... I don't care about the name if people know what I'm talking about. I still need the hook up.
Guest Karnage Posted April 16, 2002 Report Posted April 16, 2002 Damn, some of those Capcom games are expensive on Ebay, and they are no where to be found at stores.
Guest Cataclysm911 Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 For the record, if you get any of the Capcom 2D fighters, import them. That way, they will be missing zero animation, and will be identical to the arcade versions. At least, that's how it is on the Saturn.
Guest Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 don't forget about Jet Grind Radio and Sonic Adventure 2. both are my favorite games for dc.
Guest razazteca Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Sega Smash Pack is a must UFC Dreamcast version is more complex than PS1 version Zombie Revenge Blitz all SNK fighting games
Guest The Man in Blak Posted April 17, 2002 Report Posted April 17, 2002 Other than ones that have already been mentioned, here's a couple you might be interested in: Giant Gram 2000 ("alternate" to Fire Pro D, though some people like it more than FP) Skies of Arcadia (supposedly a very solid RPG)
