Guest JMA Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Recently, I deleted all the files on my computer with a Start Up disk. After doing this, I proceded to download all the old programs I had on my computer. But after downloading Windows Media Player edition 9, it wouldn't play anything. Everytime I attempt to play something a window comes up saying, "There was an error and Windows Media Player must close." The strange thing is this only happens with version 9 and not the previous versions. Can anyone help?
Guest I'm That Damn Zzzzz Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Quick fix: Type mplayer2 at the Run prompt. This will bring up the older, but better, Windows Media Player 6.4. Should work with few or no problems. Failing that, download a better media player, such as BSPlayer, Media Player Classic or Winamp
Guest JMA Report post Posted February 25, 2004 Is there any way to fix version 9, though?
