Maybe OU's paying them more to do the quick job.

And, oh yeah:

OU officials have also been talking with Oregon State officials about a possible two-game series with the Ducks playing at OU on Sept. 18.

I think they need to fire whoever let that rather huge mistake go through. The Oregon St. Ducks? *shakes head*

I'm confused. Which does he mean? Oregon Ducks or Oregon St. Beavers?

When the report said "OU officials have also been talking with Oregon State officials about a possible two-game series with the Ducks playing at OU on Sept. 18.", he believed that the reporter screwed up.

To clear it up, rumor is that Oklahoma would play the Ducks (rumored game) and Beavers (confirmed game) on consecutive weekends.

This rumor is a pretty big deal up here in Oregon.

Oh I see........so the reporter didn't screw up...he just wasn't clear enough.

OU vs. the State of Oregon? That would be bad if OU beat both of them. Oh hell....OU would probably beat both teams.

But they have enough non-conference games don't they? Bowling Green, Oregon, Oregon St., Houston, and then aren't they play Air Force?

I thought they only played 4 or 5 non-conference games....not 6.

Last list I noticed had:

Bowling Green (09/04/04)

Florida A&M (09/11/04).

Arkansas State (09/25/04).

Oregon State has since been confirmed for 9/18 (their only idle week during their season, since they begin a few weeks late).

IIRC, the Florida A&M game was called off, so the Sooners were looking for a new opponent to strengthen their schedule.

Ok so they won't be face ASU either.

So it'd be Bowling Green, Oregon, Oregon State, and Houston if all goes right.

Who's the toughest team that they are playing out of those? Any of them actually have a chance to beat the Sooners? Like if they're playing ball like they did against Texas where they won 65-13?

Well I'll have season tickets so I hope they're home games.

Oregon State will already be playing LSU next season, although I have to check on the week. Maybe they're trying to pull out after they didn't get the deal they wanted, which was 2 games at LSU and 1 at OSU, instead of the 1 game at LSU and the big-ass payoff.

Never mind... the LSU-Oregon St. game is on Sept. 4.
