Guest Report post Posted April 17, 2002 Can somebody give us some information/ update on the possibility/ existence of an SJL site? What are the belts and who holds them? I can't figure out how many there are and what they are, and who all are champions. Not to mention what their levels are. How do these "rankings" work? Also an extra goodie. Board Time is relative, since you can set your own board time with iconboard. What time zone should we be using as board time?
Guest ErekT2k Report post Posted April 17, 2002 The JL site is maintained by the Hville Thugg and the url is http://jl.ignwf.com but then I don't know the condition of it. It's been down for quite a long time. The title belts are separated into three levels. TV is the first level, European is the second, and World is the last and highest of these levels. TV Champion: T-Bone Euro Champion: The Superior One Tom Flesher World Champion: Erek Taylor The Rankings are specially designed by LDP. Just hold on a sec, and I'll bump the explanations of rankings up for ya. And I have no idea what board time we go by. EDIT: For Vanguard, here's the explanation for rankings. I'm a huge fan of yours. Superheros Rock! "Explanation of Rankings: The rankings are determined as follows. All wrestlers that have been booked in the last thirty days are listed, whether or not they are currently active SJL members. (The only exception is with someone bumped to the SWF, who is removed immediately after his or her first SWF booking.) Each wrestler gets one point for each full month that has passed between his or her first and last booking dates. Then, for each win, he or she gets one point for each opposing side in the match. (Therefore a singles match is worth two points, a triple threat worth three, etc.) A wrestler loses one point for each loss - including no shows. If the match is a no contest or double no show, the match is stricken from the record - both sides "luck out" and don't lose any points, as though the match never existed. Wins and losses are determined from the wrestler's match record (in character), not the writer's record (out of character). Finally, points are granted for title wins as follows: winning the SJL World title grants an additional three points, the SJL European title two points, and the SJL Television title, now-retired Tag/Stables titles, and now-retired Eastern United States title one point. Each wrestler also gets one point for each successful defense of any title. In the case of the Tag/Stables titles, a stable member only received points for title wins or defenses where he or she actually took part in the match." EDIT2: Haha, that's right Taylor. Too fast for ya! That's why you use Taylor as a last name instead of a first! BOOYAH!
Guest 5_moves_of_doom Report post Posted April 17, 2002 Well, measuring by board time, you just posted that at 6:04 p.m. So, adjust from there. As for the other stuff you asked, I'm realtively new, and don't know much about the titles. But I think Erek Taylor is the World Champion, T-Bone is the TV champ, and I think the only other title is the European belt, not sure who has that though. Anyhoo, there's a post a few pages back that has the current champs, which is updated frequently. Edit: Drat, Erek beat me to it.
Guest Ace309 Report post Posted April 17, 2002 <PROMO MODE: On> AHEM! You don't know who holds the European Title? You don't even know if it IS the European Title? My oh my, TNT... between that and our alliance with Danny Williams, we're digging ourself a nice little hole of inferiority here, aren't we? <PROMO MODE: Off>
Guest Edwin MacPhisto Report post Posted April 17, 2002 Flesher rules. But yes, Vanguard, they've got it broken down pretty well for you. We have those three belts, and we did have a site as JL.IGNWF.COM courtesy of the HVille Thugg, but it seems to not exist currently. All stats info is on the stats thread, and everything else you should be able to pick up via the shows.
Guest redbaron51 Report post Posted April 17, 2002 Hmm if I win this match, I would be ranked number 2? That wouldn't make sense since I would be World Champion
Guest crusen86 Report post Posted April 17, 2002 You've only won one match since returning. Assuming you win the world title, that's two matches in 2 months, compared to Erek's zillion.
