Vince Carter. Yeah, he's great, he can dunk, and he sells tennis shoes but his teamm blew when he was on the court. Without him, they're fighting for a playoff spot.

Man I hate to agree with this cuz im a raptor fan. The team just doesnt mesh well with him on the floor.

Anyway...Least Valuable Player is easy...

Mine would go 2 Vince Carter cuz they were struggling with him playing and now winning without him and his whining about im not just a dunker so now he's shooter and dunker that doesnt play defense.

But my all LVP Team:

Center: Marcus Camby

Power Foward:Vin Baker

Small Foward: Vince Carter

Shooting Guard: Allan Houston

Point Guard:Stephon Marbury

6th man: Shawn Kemp

Anthony Mason.

Last year the Bucks made it to the Eastern Conference finals.  This year...they are out of the playoffs.  No significant losses personnel wise to the team.  Mason was supposed to put them in the Finals.  Instead he helped land them in the lottery.

Allen Houston -- Anyone who has a $100 million contract, Latrell Sprewell on their team, and Mark Jackson dishing them the ball should AT LEAST lead said team to the playoffs. Especially in the paper-thin Eastern conference.

I've never been that much of a Carter fan...but comeon.  They beat a bunch of lottery teams in a row and now everyone acts like they don't need Vince Carter.  There is no team in the league that doesn't need a 27 pt, rebounding, shot blocking, double team demanding guy.  Yeah, he has played softer this year, but without him, the Raptors would be checkin out who they could get with the top pick.

Like I said ripper when Vince was playing they lost 13 str8 then he get's hurt now they're in the playoffs and might advance, it doesnt matter if they beat garbage teams its about finishing strong.

oh yea, i wanna also but the Milwaukee Bucks on here 2 cuz they enuff talent 2 own the east, and now they will be watching the playoffs at home.

The Rapters were 6 game deep into that losing streak before Vince came off the losing streak...they just KEPT losing.  And losing to the good teams in the leage.  Then they get a soft schedule, beat some BAD teams...I mean the teams that were eliminated from the playoffs at the allstar break bad like the bulls 2 times, and now all of a sudden they are better without him?  I'm sorry, but that all goes to that crap that was getting flung earlier this year when Webber was hurt and the Kings were winning.  Can they win without him...yeah....are they a better team with him...Definately.  Sometimes wins and lost numbers can be deciving.  The Timberwolves went on like a 12 game winning streak when Terrell Brandon went down.  But later in the season, we saw how much he meant to the team.  The same with Vince.  Beating lottery teams without him is all fine and good, but if this was a long season, they would have had a couple of more 17 game losing streaks under their belt.

Shaquille O'Neal.

So if the Lakers didn't have O'Neal they would of had the best record in the NBA. Compared to the 2nd best record, with Shaq missing 16 games this season.???

Say what you want about Vince Carter, but the simple fact is that he saved NBA basketball in Toronto. If he'd never developed into a superstar for the Raptors, they might be the ones playing in Memphis.

I'd vote for Vince but he was fine until he got injured, and I can't really judge him based on the Raptor's futility streak.

So my pick is Shawn Kemp, or the blimp posing as him...

Guest What?!

Greg Ostertag

It's fun watching Jerry Sloan go berserk when Ostertag screws up.
