MooreMark 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2004 Christian, WrestleMania 2000, 3 wins, 2 losses I don't remember who Christian fought last year but how does that make sense? Oh wait, I just remembered the hardcore title escapade at 18.
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2004 Christian, WrestleMania 2000, 3 wins, 2 losses I don't remember who Christian fought last year but how does that make sense? OK...simple. WrestleMania 2000: With Edge, won tag titles WrestleMania X-Seven: With Edge, won tag titles. WrestleMania X-8: Lost to DDP, Beat Molly Holly for Hardcore Title, Lost the Hardcore Title to Maven. Guest Askewniverse Report post Posted March 6, 2004 Molly Holly, WrestleMania X8, 1 win, 1 loss I know you're a Molly fan, but should that really count? Molly didn't really make an in-ring appearance.

I counted them for Christian...if Spike was wrestling I'd count it for him... I count it.

I counted them for Christian...if Spike was wrestling I'd count it for him... I count it. In that case, shouldn't Funaki be 1-1 since he won and lost the hardcore title during the battle royal in 2000?

In that case, shouldn't Funaki be 1-1 since he won and lost the hardcore title during the battle royal in 2000? I knew that issue would come up... Here's how I figured it: The WrestleMania 2000 Hardcore Invitational was ONE match...like a regular battle royal. Despite the various falls that happened in the match, the end result was that Hardcore Holly came out the winner of the match. It's like with the Royal Rumble...you don't count superstar eliminations on a win/loss record for a guy...you just count the winner of the match. The WrestleMania X8 Hardcore title situation is a bit different though. Each "Match" was divided up through the show. They weren't each counted as one match, they were all their own unique little mini-matches. As such, each one counts as a win or a loss for someone. That's my $0.

True...but that wasn't the END result. THe match didn't END with any of those victories. It ended after the 15 minutes were up...and Hardcore was the last champion at that time. Hence, he was the final champion, and I consider him the true victor of the match.
Guest Man Of 1,004 Modes Report post Posted March 7, 2004 I also think the HArdcore Title Battle Royale only should count as one final fall no matter what. The results say Winner: Hardcore Holly. Or just count wins and not losses.
